Hi All

Nothing much added since my last post, but I have found out, by accident, that there is a Petition to Parliament being prepared about this matter.

Can I ask anyone interested, not just park home owners to sign up at:

This is open to anyone in the UK, so if you have a pensioner in the family, or even need to ensure the most vulnerable in society are treated fairly, this is your opportunity.

Thanks for the petition link, Jeff, I've signed it and alerted others to it.

Did anyone else catch Prime Minister's Questions today?  I heard a bit of it on Radio 5 Live and our cause was raised by Ben Spencer.  He asked (a) about fixing fairer pitch fees and about the 10% that is paid to the park owner when we sell up, and (b) was the PM going to make sure we got the £400 grant?... The PM waffled a bit about the first question but (unless I missed it) didn't address the second one at all!  

Oh well, at least it's being talked about...

I rent a property in the sticks with my own electric, water and oil metres and readings are submitted to the landlord every 3 months.  Will I recieve a £400 helping hand.

As i understand it the payment will go to the account holder, and will be credited automatically to the bill over 6 equal installments from October. If your landlord is the account holder then it will come off his bill, which he will (hopefully) in turn pass on to you.
