In which case they are quids in, however without knowing which, if any, benefits they qualify for it's impossible to say by how much.
    That’s terrible

    Why?

What happens to them on benefits that live with there parents for example
What extra costs are they incurring due to the increased cost of living?
How about the parents asking for more "keep" to help pay the bills, transport?

If, as stated, they are unemployed and qualify for a means tested benefit then they will receive £650, from which they can give their parents some if they ask.

It don’t seem right that someone who’s not responsible for the bills should get the money it’s abit of a kick in the balls to the workers

SO I think that means that a pensioner household claiming pension credit, state pension, a disability benefit such as PIP or Attendance Allowance and paying an electricity bill would get £650 (means tested benefit) + £300 (pensioner) + £150 (disability) + £400 (energy grant) - TOTAL £1,500

[EDIT: Plus the previously announced £150 support payment being delivered by local councils if they are in a property with Council Tax Band A-D]
PLUS £200 Winter Fuel Payment (£300 if both over 80 years old).

Presumably - PLUS warm homes discount for those entitled to it ?
Be aware that the rules for WHD have changed - meaning that only those on certain means tested benefits are eligble rather than low income + DLA/PIP claimants !

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.
