My guess is around a month.

By reading other threads you will have seen that the Claimant has twenty-eight days to consider your Defence.

Do you know what you have to do next? Keep an eye on that checklist you were following earlier.
  • So I've just received this...
  • Also the one I was told to ignore in my 1st post has just came again accompanied by this...

Top one says you didn't defend.

Did you not make sure you got an acknowledgement to your defence email?  You need to complain to the CCBC if you did defend in time.  See thread by someone whose username starts with 'jag' who was offered compensation by the CCBC for this email farce.

Bottom letter is obviously another one to ignore.

Your defence submission date was 15th June (as pointed out by @KeithP) and you submitted it on 13th June according to your post on 15th June with an acknowledgement therefore cannot see how you would have any problem getting it set aside as it appears to be a CCBC error - again!
  • I was unable to find the post from Jag... so I have generated a response.

    To whom it may concern,

I have received the attached letter from the CCBC and it is completely unwarranted.

I submitted my defence on June 13th and have received an acknowledgement email from the CCBC after submitting.

To now receive a threatening letter which is completely incorrect has been extremely stressful and exhausting for myself but more so for my partner. My partner has long suffered with anxiety and was subject to a crippling panic attack when I told them the contents or the letter. Their medication dose is now being reassessed and I believe that it is largely due to this letter. This might seem dramatic to anybody reading but I assure you that it is very real for my partner.

After such an unprofessional error on your part I believe that not only should this disputed claim be overturned but recompense should also be offered for the distress and anguish caused.

    Kind Regards

    MA

How does it sound? Also where am I best lodging this? There is a queries email attached to the acknowledgement email from the CCBC....should I send it to that?

Not a robust enough complaint. Get more angry.

Read the thread by the other user about the court error and how he got the CCBC to admit fault.  I think @KeithP found it earlier this month.

The thread you are looking for is this one started by @jag_run ...
UKCPM Free Parking Overstay - CCJ Removed & Compensation (Update: June 2022)

Maybe start at this post - 23 May at 11:54PM - for detail following the erroneous CCJ.

You are complaining so I suggest your letter needs to be more formal.
Replace To whom it may concern with Dear Sirs.
Replace Kind Regards with love and kisses Yours Faithfully.
  • So I've sent in my complaint email but I'm not getting a notification of receipt....surprise surprise
