Thanks all. I've been using Ms for over 40 years Piggers, ever since I realised I could, but it grates. All men are automatically Mr, and people have opinions about Ms. I just resent all of it.Better is good enough.10

I don't use any 'title' where I can get away with it. I don't see why it is even relevant to anyone. There are people who complain about having a diagnosis for a disability and call it a label yet tie themselves to the whole Mr/Miss garbage which is utterly ridiculous and a much more insulting label to be given. I agree, ones marital status is no one elses business.
I need a few 'picnic' bits for the girls for tomorrow.. Twinkle is very spotty and unhappy with being itchy and her finger has a huge chicken and she said it is sore. I am in full on growl mode this week.
There is a course I want to do which we can't afford yet we are paying (the same amont) for OH to do the personal trainer course which he is not doing unless I kick his behind to do it.. when is it my turn to do something for me? I am fed up of being so far down the list of importance!!Dry washing folded ready to put away.wm's both loaded againTD had another pile of undies through it.

Morning all.Interesting debate on titles. I got called Mrs J this week, when I just want to be referred to as Jazee. But that's because my last name is hard for people to pronounce and spell. Was worse when I was Councillor J! I'm seeing more and more correspondence where the person signs off their name, then follows it with 'she/her' or 'he/him'.
Today DH and I are going to York.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Blimey some years ago DSS1 bought me a title with a foot square of land in the Scottish highlands for Christmas, some where I have a certificate, I had forgotten all about it, I am / was Lady (something or other, I forget) I'll have to see if I can find it, a trip to the loft I think. It is very windy here, the bunting has split so will have to tie it back together.Easy dinner tonight OH wants fish and chips, I'll be sticking to salad.Kitchen is doneCats are fed, and playing / running around the garden in the wind.I need to check some receipts for the cats as OH and I go halves on their food etc.Wild flower garden is now full of poppies opening up.Piggers, the link you put up, can you explain to me, or pm what I am ment to be looking at, as I just get a general sort of page, properly me being a bit daft and looking at the wrong thingBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Kaz.. the bone cancer trust are doing a 'sponsored' swim throughout June.. the link takes you to their FB page.. but the swimming fundraiser is down the page a bit.. I think this is the right direct link. I know a lot of people do swim here and if you're swimming anyway bring a bit of awareness about the charity and maybe a spot of fundraising .. it all helps.. I did a Versus Arthritis one a few months ago which was knitting. There is a knitting one for dementia awareness coming up too.. If I am knitting anyway! I just think even if we only get £1 in donations it all helps!
Jazee.. the whole pronoun thing is getting crazy too..
Spotty is very itchy this morning and heading to the bath with oats once my pain and hayfever meds kick in.. I can't stop sneezing, I am wheezy and my right leg in particular is incredibly painful today..
Pudding parted with a hairball on my bedroom floor and buried it in washing.. he is in the dog house this morning!I am off to play with washing and OH can scoop poop..DW needs doingnice and sunny today so OH is getting prodded into the garden for half an hour with SqueakLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -

Hi all
Nice day. Got finished early at the paid stuff and went for a lovely walk then called at Li@l to get supplies. Made a big pot of veggie curry so lots to go in the freezer. Thai green with chicken for DH.
DS1 turned up and has gone to play cricket. He is staying here tonight as he is at hospital tomorrow for a scan, he has to be injected with stuff and drink some fluid to show up his bowels which does not sound fun. Hoping they let me go into the hospital with him as he is really anxious about it.
Not sure what else is planned for the weekend but glad it's Friday.9 -
Evening all,
very little flying to report beyond kitchen dailies. Another one who is very glad that it is Friday. Had hm chard pesto from another mse thread this evening - very nice indeed, and enough to freeze for another meal.
Meeting up with DSiL (also happens to be my bf from school) and BiL tomorrow, so that will be good.
DH has popped to the pub for a quick drink. I am hoping that it is more than one so that I can sit here in splendid isolation.
Gentle hugs to Twinkle.
Hugs to YL, my inbox is there if you need it x
Curtsies (?) to all the ladyships.

YL, I hope tomorrow goes well for your DS1 x
I've felt cold all day except when in the direct sunshine, and haven't achieved much of what I'd aspired to do, but I have
- stripped my bed
- done WMx4 and hung out
- sent various emails
- done various bits of research for the froggy admin
- watered plants, indoors and out
- walked Rosie
- cooked tea, including 2 double portions for the freezer
- taken DH to war games club
- chatted to NDN about fence replacement
- done QHI (my pillowcases and one of DH's shirts)
- phoned an old teaching colleague and arranged a "playdate" with her on 8th June, subject to any of the 4 of us getting hospital appointments
- written a long email to another old friend
- made up my bad, and am about to fall into it!
G'night all, enjoy the weekend xx9
