Round.. she is dosed with piriton and calpol. She has about 30 chickens but she is not happy. DS1 had it at 8 months old along with my 2 sisters and my brother, the next 6 all had them in 2001 when Meem was 4 months old. the next 2 had it in 2005 when Tiddles was about 5 months old. The next 3 had them in 2014 When Pixie was 8 months old so it is just Twinkle all by herself. Apparently her friend was off school with them last week and her parents never thought to mention.. god job I hadn't been planning visits to elderly rellies or my mother.. she has had shingles 4 times and certainly doesn't need it again. We have her brithday party planned for the 5th at Soft Play so I'm hoping she is no longer contagious by then. She is spending the day playin minecraft and watching Disney rubbish.. and eating ice pops.. She keeps putting soft mittens on so she can itch herself.. haha.. 3 times we were up last night with her.. I am exhausted!

Must post item today.. I have emailed the buyer and apologised for the delay.. it's not 'late' I have just been busy.

2xWM .. I think I have most of Moomins washing now.

TD with Moomins stuff, it is almost all tiny stuff and I am not hanging it out! not quite sure how I made that teeny thing!

I would like to finish my blue blanket stripe today but I doubt I will get it done.

Walking done, on the sand today as the tide was far enough out, whole beaches to myself, well about 3 dog walkers, until I got round a corner / jutting out cliff and found about 200 school kids, on a beach finding fossil type trip! the noise, I was glad to get up the slip way.

Bunting is up, wind has now also got up, so hopefully it will stay up.

So RISHI SUNAK is going to give money to those in need / against bills etc etc, I bet I don't get any. GOV. too busy having drinkypoo parties etc. Do I have to apply and if so to whom.................watch this space.

Kaz.. I am simply not going to expect a penny. They should just not raise the price cap.. and lower it instead.. what is the oint of giving with one hand while taking with the other? It sounds like money laundering to me!

Washing out in the rain.. 2 more loads to put out and then I need to go get the 2 gremlins from school.

Twinkle is grumbling about being itchy and counting her chickens as they hatch .

Squeak is busy.. writing by the look of it!

Hi all

Poor Twinkle.  DS2 managed to pick at one of his spots until it went manky and took ages to heal, he still has a scar.

Paid stuff done.  WFH today and thought I might get called in to deal with something but no phone call.  If they ring me now I am ignoring it. 

Gathered up DHs floordrobe and threw it in a quick wash, hoping I can get it to stay on the line as it's very windy.  Tidied upstairs and have got the hoover out but I havent plugged it in yet.  A spider has been busy under the kitchen radiator and it now looks like it hasnt seen a duster for about 10 years.  That's a job for Henry.

Planning to fly a little more then sit down, it's been quite a week so far.  Fish and chips out of the freezer for tea so that doesnt require much effort.

YL I still have a scar from when I had them and picked a spot to death and Squeak has one on her cheek and one on her back.

Another load of Moomins washing out on the line and both WM's refilled.

Having a cuppa before dragging myself to do dinner.. burger/egg/pastie and chips I think.. I am too tired to excel myself and make actual food.

DW needs to go on and I need to boing to DD1's this evening and pick up some stuff and see which of her new glasses she might be willing to keep

... skids back in and slinks to the back in the hope that I won't be noticed as previously absent.  My cat is currently trying to climb out of a third floor window.

I've been doing real actual flying but also doing other things like repotting the triffid-like tomatoes and courgettes, the window box things on the railings at the front, mending broken things and so on.  I'm sorry I haven't been contributing.

And I've also done something to deal with a fairly constant irritation in my life.  The older I get the angrier I get about this.  I'm so very, very tired of being asked my marital status when dealing with organisations:  'Is that Miss or Mrs?' It's none of their business whether I'm married or not so I've bought myself one square foot of a nature reserve in Scotland so that I can now answer that question honestly with 'Neither.  It's Lady.'  I should have done it decades ago.

HB.. that sounds perfect! However you could also have Ms which indicates neither marital status but people assume your sexuality then too.. or done the online thing to be a Rev.. I don't see why those stupid 'titles' a necessary. I found that almost as annoying as still using CF name in the world as well as my birth name (I dislike both males who dumped me with their names) until OH and I got married. Anyway, congratulations your Ladyship

Off to feed the beast, medicate the itchy one and sort the girls some bits for their picnic tomorrow..

Not a lot to report, but it's been a pleasant day.  Today I have
- done WMx1 and got it hung out before breakfast
- re-written my to-do list
- hoovered and dusted downstairs
- driven DH to the foot farrier
- taken my Cypriot friend out for lunch at our favourite GC
- bought 4 tomato plants of different varieties for my mini-greenhouses
- been to 2 farm shops
- bought 2 more tomato plants of other different varieties
- walked Rosie all round the Covert
- brought in the washing
- cooked tea
- updated a contacts list and the relevant email groups
- sent off a couple of emails.

I ought to go and plant up the tomatoes in their big pots now.   Need to be back in by 9.00 for WDYTYA, during which I will iron the cushion covers as per the list!

Paid stuff today - quite an easy day as the 2 I had play together really well. We sowed some beans in the garden, after counting them and then sharing out equally. I like to add a bit of numeracy in! 😁 They took home 3 beans each to plant at home - one mum was "delighted" at the prospect! 🤣🤣
Finished at 3:30, then had a shower & hair wash before heading to the big green pet shop to pick up flea treatment for the crazy cat, and a new cat flap as ours is broken (I suspect the 2 yr old that keeps posting things through it!), then Mr L for couple of bits. Quick tea before the WI committee meeting, then I needed to pack for the weekend. Just the last few bits in the morning then I am all set to go! 

2 loads washed, line dried & FUPA and DW done

I have cleaned up my work ipad ie reset it.  My sister has given me her old one which is still newer than my work one

new gate has been fitted so bunnies can now have run of garden.  Bunnies shocked at new found freedom.
