Gentle (((hugs))) to you and your DD, Valli. Coping with the unknown is always really hard, but it's good news that your condition is treatable. We are here if/when you need us xx
(((Hugs))) also to YL and asb - you both push yourselves to your limits and need to be gentle with yourselves xx
All my work on the frog earlier this week may have been to no avail, as the Vicar told me last night that he is thinking of having a full broadband connection installed in church, and - even though his reasons are absolutely 100% right and good - that means a total reversal of the criteria for the project for which I have been made responsible , and all the time that I spent on researching the facts and writing them up has probably been wastedOh well, I'll just have to start all over again. At least I can use the same template. But it will have to wait until I have dealt more urgent matters, like planting out things in my garden before they die of neglect!
DH has a horse piddle appointment later this morning so I need to be ready to go out in 35 minutes. I have S&S'd the kitchen, tidied the LR, made my bed, closed a pants bank account, and found DH's missing slipper.
Hope everyone has a calm and pleasant day xx8 -
I have done the dailies, hoovered and mopped through and got everything out for the baby.Spend less now, work less later.9

Not long back from work. Gh shut up for the night, tomato plants spoken to, quick dinner cooked as DH is out with friends for a meal. I need to tidy the kitchen and prep my lunch and something for dinner for tomorrow, then that will be me done. Such a shame, but the washing isn’t yet dry so I can’t iron it 🤫.8 -
And Twinkle has chickenpox...

Poor Twinkle, GWS x. I somehow suspect you're all going to have an itchy half-term, pigpen
Calamine at the ready?
DH had a successful horse piddle visit to the dietitian nurse practitioner (apologies if I've got the wrong title, but I know she wasn't a doctor) - she was very encouraging and helpful, the total opposite of the scathing registrar he saw last time.
I have planted out some of the plants that I grew in pots last year, alongside the roadway. Can't remember what they are, but they are strong plants and will bring a dash of colour to the drive, whatever they are! Everything in the garden seems to be enjoying the alternating sunshine and rain. I have some good-looking sunflower seedlings in my mini greenhouse which need potting on, but the slugs have have feasted on the majority. I hate slugs!
Just time now to do a couple more little admin jobs before Sewing Bee8 -
Morning all. Hope Twinkle isn't suffering too much Piggers.

Morning all xx
piggers - Piriton stopped the itching when DS had chickenpox. I hope that Twinkle only has a mild case. Bless her xx Has everyone else had chickenpox?
An up and down week at the paid stuff so far this week: Tuesday was weird enough for me to check it wasn't a full moon sending everyone doolally 🤪, yesterday it was so q-word that there was tumbleweed drifting down the corridor. Well not really, obviously 🙄 So we'll see what today brings....rolling up my sleeves.
I'm up, dressed, made my bed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and a supped a brew.
My lower back spasmed earlier when I was stood up straight! I doubled up with the pain then was afraid to straighten up again. I'm straight, and my back is now tender. I'm wondering if someone stuck a pin in a voodoo doll 🤔 It was sudden, sharp and out of the blue. Definitely voodoo! Eeek.
I'll put out the recycling, feed the birds and bring in the emptied bin before I trundle off to work.
Hope everyone has a good day
Love to all
Rxx
