Ok, so somehow it is afternoon already, but I have done a few things this morning.
Bedding changed and into the wm, now hanging outside as it has gone from damp and dull to blue sky and blustery. Perfect drying weather.
Trip to small town in DD’s car to pick up some set-by wool, in case the kind lady decided that I really should have decided about it (she hadn’t) and should have got far enough through the cardigan to decide (I haven’t). Not sure how, but some more wool dropped into my bag. Just in case she runs out of summer cottons before I next go in, you understand 😳.Went into the refill shop with some empty containers and had a rummage around in there. A varied haul for £5. Even some flylady cleaning stuff in case I find myself flying.
Finally, I picked up some chocolates for DSiL as we are seeing her at the weekend, and a present for someone who is leaving work next week.
Back home now, windows flung open to let in some air, and I really must get to the list. Bathrooms it is.8 -
Cooey, me again. I have s&sd downstairs loo, cleaned small appliances and hob in kitchen, walked dogs, put rubbish out and cut the grass back and front. Still need to weed paths and sweep up but I've stopped for lunch. 10000 steps already done today.Spend less now, work less later.9

advise neededMy mobile phone is sim & PAYG (with EE) only, so far this month (may) it has had £20 top up, it is getting out of hand IMO, the usage I think is caused by me using a step app, to count my walking steps. So the question is, if I go to contract who with / what sort of package to I need to consider??I do NOT use the phone for many calls or texts, I don't use it for banking or any thing like that, it is mainly in coming text / calls/ my step app.Wm doneHoovering doneBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Good afternoon 😊
It is a quiet day at the paid stuff today. I have one 4 yr old who is quite content playing in his own imaginary world 😊
The rain has finally stopped so I have been pottering in the garden with the patio door open, but he hasn't joined me yet.
DH has done some ironing (DS's new job means he is wearing shirts again!). I have cleaned up the kitchen after lunch. I will put the DW on before we head out later to DD2's for a takeaway to celebrate her birthday. DH has just left to pick her up from work now.
I hope everyone is having a good day.
I am off into the garden again to pot up some luffas, cucumbers & chillis for the GH 😁8 -
Kaz, who are you with for phone & broadband? We're with beetee and our mobile sims with them cost us £5 each per month with unlimited calls, texts and data.
Table scrubbed, patio and paths weeded and swept, dogs walked between showers and have read some more of my book.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Kaz, I have 6 contracts with Tesc0m0bile and DS2 pays £5.50 a month, mine is £8.. unlimited calls and texts (which I never use) and he has 2GB data and I have 8GB.. SIM only with my 4 year old phone.. They use o2 networks so excelelnt coverage.. you get clubcard points and their customer service people fairly useful. They have a webchat too so you dnt even have to talk to people. They are better for us than o2 Vodafone and EE ever were. I like the spend cap as well which you can set to zero so the evil teens cannot run up £9k bills.. that really helps. I have actually been looking a tswitching Moomins sim only deal to save a few £'s just this morning actually, her is quite expensive because I added a £3 data bundle mid-contract so is £14 and the same as a SIM only would be £10. I need to speak to her about phones before doing anything, she is working and has a dirt cheap phone so she might want to pay for an upgrade.
GI.. not one of our cucumber seeds grew.. most disappointed!Did an online course.. it is 1 hour a day every day this week.Other than that I don't think I have done anything.. my tummy is feeling unhappy today.

Bathrooms done. Possibly even to level 3, now there’s a shock. Downstairs run through (almost literally) with the vacuum cleaner. Paperwork caught up with. Need to tackle pensions next but that is a frog for another day. Budgets not looking too healthy. Chard pesto made, thanks to a suggestion elsewhere on mse. I have licked the spoon and it tastes yummy.
Kaz - We have 3 contracts with G1ff G@ff - all different, ranging from £5 to £15 per month, sim only, and no contract, so if you don’t like it, you can always move each month. I’ve been with them for 8 years, they use O2, and I’ve found them way better than 3 or v0daf0ne ever were, especially for coverage where we live.
Making asparagus risotto for dinner - DH picked up some asparagus from the local PYO yesterday, massive bundle so at least 2 dinners there.8 -
Fayolle, I love asparagus risotto, now there's an idea for next week.
Sorted out a bit more in the bedroom, 3 bags to go to recycling, 1 bag in the bin. OH did more in the garden so we are really looking quite nice. Sausage meat plait made for picnic tomorrow and it looks quite tasty! A pile of paperwork sorted through too. I will get rid of the big filing cabinet one day!
Probably bbq sausages & salad for tonight.
Walk done at lunchtime

I have a graph of the last years data usage when I log in to the app or website under account info. We were laughing at DS2's earlier.. in the last 12 months he has sent 11 texts, made 13 minutes of calls and used no data at all.. He doesn't go out much! Good job it is only £5.50! lol
I play loads of online data eating games and use less than 2GB a month. It is video streaming where most people eat data.
Pack ups done, everyone fed and watered..
Everyone is being stuffed in bed..
I NEED TO MAKE DR APPOINTMENTS FOR SQUEAK AND TWINKLE.. neither is 'ill' but have things which need addressing. My stuff isn't important.
I need to sort Boog a sharps bin.. the chemist refused to give him the one because they only had different ones.. !!!!!!...
Valli... sending love and light xxx I hope all went as well as these things can xx
