She also gave me an Easter Egg which I gave to Teacup.

Bed extraction did not take place until 10.30 this morning. That was not good.
Coffee seems to be working out though, feels less tense during the day. Or more absent? Not really sure.
Been reading more ASD books, as research really. I'm not sure I will qualify for disability here but at least the knowledge will help me figure out what to do next.
Starbucks and Kindle book bought today.
I'm starting to understand a bit more about my difficulties with executive function. Unfortunately by living it.2 -
I suspect I need to cut back more on coffee. It might reduce seemingly inexplicable minor anxieties! I have a range of fruit teas that are supposed to help me cut back on coffee, but how well this goes depends on my mood.
10.30 is perfectly permissible if you need it, especially if you're recovering from or fighting off something.
I'm starting to see how heavily challenges, changes and complexities weigh on me. The fact I've functioned with them all my life doesn't take away the fact they are like wading through snow. What I don't understand is that they are held in tension with a need for variety.
I talked myself out of the Kindle offer on disease and history because I know absolutely that I won't finish it, however interesting the premise. I hope you enjoy whatever you chose.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Inadvertently beneficial communication error. Carer phoned to cancel but did it by asking would I mind if he cancelled? I of course answered with it is up to him mwah ha ha.
Only realised afterward that he was actually cancelling and not asking for my permission. D'oh. Here now anyway.
Thinking about how to manage short term and long term goals at the same time. I was thinking to myself that I must have spent 60 euro in Starbucks this last week. That could have gone to my new passport or a cc payment. I don't do it every week so part of me thinks that it is a short term need that has to be met. And there needs to be balance in money or I just end up binging.
I sold stuff to the electrical shop. Got less for the camera than I expected or would have gotten from marketplace. But I did get quite fed up of annoying marketplace people. And couldn't really face the back and forth.

Well done on the sales, even if you didn't make as much as you might have elsewhere, the main thing is to have achieved it.
It really sounds as though you need some time to yourself, or am I projecting my tendencies onto you? Peopling is tiring.
I don't know if you've read Keedie's diary (The Mental Debt Struggle... — MoneySavingExpert Forum) but she talks about the link between emotions and spending. She is dealing with different issues but lots of people have chimed in to make the same link. When we're under stress, I suppose it's natural to try to counterbalance that. I've had a craving for iced pastries all week, and normally I can go months between them.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

The dog is currently staring at me with the burning dog eyes of injustice having been prevented from scrounging for food.
Teacup and heavy have left the building. They are off to Scotland and the house is now relatively peaceful. Just waiting for dad to fall asleep after lunch and then I will be taking my own nap.
Definitely don't have the energy for much today.2 -
At least - some peace and quiet! Enjoy.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I'll be focusing on inchstones rather than milestones when it comes to money.
Inchstones for cc debt will be get below 1500 (cc2) and into 3s (cc3).
I still have 3 payments left on my shoes and my headphones.
I haven't factored in any income this month. There may be 3 days work (135) at the end of month but nothing in the calendar.
I don't think I can book any assessments like physio until I am earning something.
I have started stocking the freezer with food I have made in the pressure cooker. Mostly soups so far. This is no guarantee I will actually eat it but at least it is there and I can feed dad with it if necessary.
It took me an entire day on and off to do the online shop and I still forgot stuff 🤦♀️My practical skills (if I ever had any) have gone out the window.

Online shopping always takes me absolutely ages. At least once you've done one, you can fall back on your 'favourites' list, and it's not the end of the world if it's not perfect.
I confess to being scared of using a pressure cooker. I have an 'Instant Pot' which is basically a pressure cooker with extra functions. I use it quite often for slow cooking or yogurt making, but not pressure cooking. Soups are stove top concoctions, but honestly I prefer the end results to shop bought so I know mine will get eaten. Hopefully yours will too! Having something that you can just grab out of the freezer is a game changer.
A month without income is a challenge, though I think you said you get a share in household food, plus accommodation in return for supporting your dad. Perhaps you could do surveys to bring in some cash?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

The dog, who is nobody's fool, is currently under dad's bed directly in line with the heater. I don't know what is going on with the temperature. Poor dad is perpetually frozen. I will be on the hunt for base layers for hum, another diary suggested decathlon. His m and s one has disappeared...
A pressure cooker has been amazing Cherry, it is so handy being able to put everything in and just go. And not have to think about what time to cook at. My sister and her husband are also afraid of theirs but they saw me cook a roast chicken in mine and were persuaded.
It probably isn't accurate to say no income, I will be receiving carer's allowance and an extra payment this month. It's just the income from work that is on hold. Which is what pays for nice things. Like Starbucks 🤦♀️
I haven't gone mad with my own money, I did manage to pay the carer which was nice. I did end up buying a bottle of gaviscon for 15 euro (!!!!!) With teacups money as we all have the family digestive system. Which is like having a lada engine in a ferrari.
