The above are really great things to spend money on. The only issue I have is cake not being on the list

  • These comments are not helping my digestive system she says dryly.

Today's money has been spent on toiletries (necessary as the order I put in was delayed due to me spectrum ordering*). And shoes.
Now shoes are not something I ordinarily buy. In fact, it is probably safe to say that I don't like shoe shopping at all. But amazon let me buy things in 5 payments which is far easier than waiting. So I can buy the shoes I actually want for reasons that are relevant to me.
And I also bought the Salt Path on Kindle. Which is all your fault because I saw it mentioned on here and thought I'd try reading it again.

*Buying something that is not very popular but that I am obsessed with and afraid that I will run out of so I order 5 at a time.
  • Good morning all.
Been out and about to the supermarket this morning. I've added horizontal handlebars to dad's wheelchair and tested them out on the hill. Definitely easier pushing and turning.
Sunday papers bought even though I'm not through Saturday's yet 🤣🤣🤣
Got the second book by Raynor Winn. Not sure it is the best read in my current frame of mind but it has captured my attention.

I enjoyed both the books after it was mentioned on here too. I'm planning to get her third at some point when I have a credit again.

Handlebars on a wheelchair sound interesting.

  • I haven't bought the third as it was 9.99 so I've reserved it in e-library.
The handlebars have made a surprising difference. Even Teacup could push him up the hill at age 73 and turning the chair is much easier.
New headphones have proved a hit with everyone. I've discovered that they read your texts to you if you want. We also experimented with phone calls and it turns out to be quite useful for talking to dad. So the next time his siblings phone we can do it via the headphones and he should be able to hear them better.
Absolutely knackered today. Dad was needing a bit of comfort this morning, it is day 3 of work and 2 hours of demanding 4 year old with a carb hangover from yesterday. Didn't even try and stop myself ordering food delivery.

The handlebars sound great. Glad the headphones are working out well too.

Hope you are okay. You are such a lovely human and daughter to do what you are.
