A round of applause please for the lady who managed to leave work on time thereby sticking to her plans. 
I won't lie there was a modicum of emotion that I wasn't people pleasing. And I have spent far too much money this evening for a lady who is not working overtime. But it is still counted very much as a win. 
Two rather successful days in a row is worthy of noting methinks. We are celebrating a timely exit this morning, a gym visit and a shower. I visited the furniture shop again and hmmed and hawed once more. And went to the library where I overdid the number of books I borrowed relative to my ability to transport them. 
Less successful was the £5 spent on too good to go Pret only to be handed a bag of fish. Tuna salad, tuna baguette and salmon sandwich. 
I may eat some of it but I gave in to lustful greed and ordered McDonalds. 
Also not successful was signing up to the dental plan which now requires either an email or a phone call. 
On the bus home now thoroughly overheated and possibly planning to lie on my bed covered in books 🤣🤣🤣

There are worse things than being covered in books.

Well done for leaving work on time: if they want you to do extra, they have to pay you, and you also have to take care of yourself by eating tuna sandwiches getting enough rest.
