Veg for breakfast? Now, you know almost no one can equal that!

You could start your own Christmas tradition with perhaps an ornament or little set of same, a year, but it doesn't have to be bought before Christmas.

The induction hob is a great idea, should come in handy daily.

Vegetable - cabbage. It was in a mix with green beans and carrot. Ate too late again feeling very snoozy.
Flat- many things today despite not actually being here. Bought a tester pot of Sulking Room Pink, two table legs and some polish. Spent half an hour converting a shoe rack into a hanging wardrobe. It's not quite the habitat wardrobe I was looking at but it's done.
Somebody Cares- I did do something today but I can't remember what it was.
    I am very, very tired.

Nighty-nights, treat yourself to a good kip 😊

Vegetable - lettuce. Had reduced bag in Sainsbugs so lettuce it was.
Flat- added a table underneath the bucket that is currently the sink in my bathroom. A side step perhaps.
Somebody Cares - once again I have forgotten what it was. I shall say it was eating more than one meal today.

I have no idea what this good kip is that you speak of PiP I have slept through the night twice in the last five years.

Vegetable - there was sweetcorn in my ready meal. Totally counts.
Flat- bought a heater. The oil radiator is not cutting it heat wise. Great for warming up my clothes though 😀
Somebody Cares - sat with my feet in a bucket of hot water and magnesium salts. Foot care needs to make it higher up the list whenever I have some kind of routine again.

Taking it easy tonight. Nothing to do nowhere to be for now.

I've cared for my feet since I did care work - and they've paid me back.

Sweetcorn adds a bit of variety. Next thing we know, you will be adding a fruit. :) If you aren't allergic, you could get yourself some fruit and nut chocolate - three in one. Possibly four if it's modern chocolate with palm oil in.

If you add a heat-driven fan on top of one of your heaters, it will warm a wider area. I'm thinking of the sort of thing sold for log burning stoves though I found there are ones for radiators too. I don't know how much heat it takes to get them turning, though a nudge might do it. Also, I don't think they are cheap, but I don't think they wear out much either.

Vegetable - potato. As in the potato scone I had with breakfast 😀 Other green things were consumed.
Flat- many, many things. Undercoat of the worlds thinnest paint on what will be the kitchenette wall. I will be painting it for the rest of the week the stuff is practically see through. Washed curtains that are actually long enough to cover the window and may even get up and install a curtain rail. Recycled cardboard. And other things that are ongoing.
Somebody Cares- bought a wrap around hot water bottle. Wearing it now tis genius.

I wondered about those wrap-around hot water bottles - they look very cosy but don't you get too hot?

How annoying about the ultra-thin paint. We had some like that, and it was such a waste of energy doing all the extra coats.

  • The usefulness of this diary has come in handy once again, without seeing my last post I would not have noted that today is the solstice. I am currently in bed unable to move so what to do with the information? Maybe look back at my photos from December 21st gone past?
Ooh throbbing legs think that is a good idea.
Work related exhaustion not withstanding I have spent the last two days in pain from my lower half being full. I put it that way to spare your sensitivities. If one had tied a string to me I could have been used as a balloon. Thankfully my body in its own inimitable way decided to simultaneously weigh me down (💩 ahem)
Thankfully the Dutch door digestive system has bowed to £10 of medication that I threw at it. Now though I am thoroughly unmotivated to do anything but lie here, a human wind machine. Especially since I managed to inadvertently send my nephew's Christmas presents to my mother's house. Replacements have been bought that will get here in time.
    Merry f'ing Christmas
