Currently eating an aero bar to motivate myself to get hoovering. I seem to be eating more sweets since my dentist visit 🤦
As the podcast I just listened to said, its an odd section of time, do what you need to do.Poor little LB was miserable this afternoon. He just lay on me for half an hour. 🥲
Im setting up for working deliveries again. But I’m taking it one or even half a step at a time3 -
Today is my day for watching the small human. We are having a gentle day as he is full of lurgy. Which is a great excuse for our morning outing to be to the asda cafe 😂😂😂
Bike magically appeared back in the garden this morning. Bike man took it away and fixed it overnight all without me seeing him. Twas great and only cost £20.

Great result for £20.
I'm sure your sis' values you looking after SB. I know when I was working with little ones it made a huge difference if I had help from relatives.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

That was definitely a good use of the do the next right thing principle.
Yesterday was a nephew day again, we went to a massive playground in a local park. Really enjoyed it as the park is turning autumnal. There was play equipment we had never seen including a two people swing. Small One has been helping with baking and we made baked oats which I like but nobody else does. Winning.
I thought today was going to be a tidy up slash rest day but I’ve ended up playing with Small One most of the day. I was a bit resentful as I had asked them if they wanted me to take the boys at any point during the weekend and they said no 🤷
But I’m trying to think with grace and gentleness. And really I was grumpy and cold just lying about. I’ve also managed to send heavy some videos of the boys while he is having an anxious time3 -
Grace and gentleness are treasure indeed.
It sounds like one of those occasions where you think you are giving but you also end up receiving. All that fresh air and daylight and baked oats into the bargain.
I hope the videos make Heavy smile.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Two missed opportunities for found potential money- mcmo tokens in the rain beside a very packed bus stop and 20p in suspiciously brown running water at the side of the road.
More adventures yesterday as we went to investigate Sister Act's new car. Well I got a brief look but I was occupied preventing tiny savages from crashing their toy cars into the very expensive big car parked nearby. All that and I didn't get my Tim Hortons which was the only reason I went. Sigh.
Out this morning for a planned planning session and lunch meetup. Cafe was lovely but sadly has stopped selling the pizzas I used to go for so was Very Disappointed. No planning was harmed in the course of the morning as my brain was mysteriously blank. Waking up randomly at 4am did me no favours.

So stressful the mcmo moment of indecision where you have to factor in styling it out in front of strangers, the struggle is real 😂1

Someone was properly staring at me and my mcmo indecision. I didn’t channel my inner PiP and thus bottled it. Sigh.
Have woken up this morning and my literal first thought was making a payment plan for my cc debt. Horrifying way to start the day. I’ve also bitten the bullet and contacted the doctors surgery to check if I need medical intervention for anything. I do not foresee it going well but at least Ive done it.And usually it motivates me to do something about it myself as I get so annoyed at the uselessness.
Am off to asda this morning as there is a digger across the road making a horrendous noise. I am planning on checking prices for what I know I can eat and seeing if that helps with planning.3 -
It's so aggravating when there's noise at home so you can't relax in your own space. A trip out will get you some fresh air and exercise as well, so that's a good move. When you need or want to stay in, it may be worth trying a website like trolley to compare prices.
I hope the contact with the doctor goes better than expected.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I love the 'no planning was harmed' comment. Well done on entertaining the kids even if you weren't feeling it - and thinking of your brother. Very caring.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
