I sold the bike as a project DIA, I couldn't guarantee working parts.
There were two sofas for 10 and I was mightily tempted to buy both.
In other news, the two rolls of insulation and their bits of extra ARE GONE AT LAST. No weird messages at 2 am just a perfectly tidy gentleman and a 40 minute wait.
I am quite tired, and in accordance with Hoarding Law, the stuff left has now expanded to fit the space.

A somewhat overwhelming day. I did not sleep last night except in that vague the world has gone quiet way. Not enough energy to commit to anything and still not quite got my head around a day where I don't do anything.
Plus terrible internet so YouTube is out 🤷
Things that got done today:
Sold fridge and insulation.
Sofa delivered
Made a time lapse video of a snail
Made two sketchbooks
Started chopping down pine/fir tree
Went for a walk
Remembered Dad
Two sketches
Pizza and strawberry cheesecake ice cream

Some good creative stuff done then. Is your nearest library any good for cheap or free internet? Or is there a cafe where you can get a coffee and log on to their wifi?
I really struggle without Internet so I am concerned for you.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

My neighbours are quite lovely. And impressive- my neighbour is cutting my entire hedge and next doors at the age of 73.
Re the internet- I can't get broadband installed until the place is clear and habitable. But no need for worries Cherry I have 4g on my phone and I have discovered that it is less terrible in the hallway.
Both my local libraries have closed in my time away 💩 My nearest is 1.3 miles away, a not insurmountable distance. However it is in something called a community campus and has more chairs than books.
I've been at my sister's the last 2 nights for a rest. If spending time with an energetic 2 year old can be considered restful?!?! I took him to a museum today and he kept asking me to open the glass so he could play with the boats 🤣🤣🤣

You hallway Internet brought back memories of finding an Internet spot on the landing in my parents' house and setting up a chair and side table so I could use it in comfort. It was right next to a radiator, too, which was good.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

That's a good list.
Awful that both libraries have closed.
My reading strategy is a) library for new books, plus b) secondhand and buying new as presents or when I can't get a 'must read' via a) or b) I don't always stick to it and have regular 'sod it' moments when I just buy it anyway...
Two year olds are tiring but life affirming. Glad you spent time with your nephewIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Small people have surprisingly strong mouths, Cherry. My leg briefly had a two year old attached to it and it was quite the pinch.
These libraries are eye opening DIA. Coming from well resourced Dublin in advantaged areas to ones that are quite clearly an afterthought is a shocker.2 -

Eek to the bite.
Glad you are getting some sleep and have some support near you.
I tidied my house - but a lot of stuff found its way into the garage - that I now need to make look respectable by Wednesday - so I feel you on the decluttering side of things.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
