    Yay for the Zopa account, so simple and easy. I'm sure I could shop around and get better rates but theirs are decent and the process works for me. I add my survey money to it and love seeing it inch up towards each little goal. Simple things.
    And boo for the less good stuff. Sounds like a lot of people take you for granted, and I expect to keep the peace you may have kept your mouth shut a little too often. It's difficult but you know your worth and you deserve respect and to be treated accordingly.

    Love how your Mum still thinks it’s her place to tell you how to bring up your own daughter. Her problem. Good for you for letting it wash over you.

    Other people will have seen it & assumed that they have misunderstood what they have seen.  They will get caught eventually.  I know someone who was stealing from their company's secure area in their warehouse.  It never occurred to them that they would get caught & when they were they promptly blamed their OH who didn't have access, she just lost her job but he (who did steal) got charged.  She didn't leave him & has been keeping him because he is too stressed by it all to get any sort of job.  I told her she was an idiot for staying (a bit more politely than that) but she seemed to think he was her only option for a partner.  That is truly sad.

    Good news about the letter from the debt company. OH has had a couple recently that we couldn't afford either so perhaps it shows they are also feeling the pinch and are open to offers. 
    Shame about the dishonesty of folk at the warehouse. Just so unfair isn't it
