I am going to be blunt. Whilst I am sure your DMP is not the happiest situation in the world, I think it more likely that some of the people you are dealing with are the basis of your unhappiness. Please try to distance yourself. Other family members will know what she is doing but be so worried about bringing it down on themselves they will do nothing. So you need not worry about them. They wont stand up for you but that doesn't mean they don't get it. I was lucky I lived 200 miles away & it was before everybody had mobiles. The answering machine was my friend. Just because we are trained like Pavlov's dog to answer the phone when it rings does not mean we have to. The best bit about it is that it drives them insane when they can't have a go at you.

Well done on the surplus cash. Hope you manage to have some you time. Please don’t succumb to your family’s demands. Look after you. Let them stew!

You seem to be in a lifelong cycle of people mistreating you Emma. You deserve far better as you are nothing but kind and thoughtful. I still recommend speaking to someone in the form of some sort of counselling. Keeping away from the likes of your Mum only kicks the can down the road till the next time in my opinion.A huge well done for all your continued hard work in getting those historic debts down.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 51

@[Deleted User] lovely to see you again! You are doing brilliantly; you are indeed the bigger person; please don't let anyone pull you down, family or not. Perhaps there's a better car out there for you and you could sell the one you've just paid off. Love Humdinger xx0

Glad you’re ok Emma. Let people think you are a workaholic if they want to. What you certainly are is a very determined hard worker and there is no shame in that.
I am positive that your son will come round. You must be making some real inroads into your debt now. As you know you can only control your own behaviour, not the behaviour of others. Keep going and better days will come x27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 51 -
I was hoping someone else would ask but ... why aren't you on the next plane home? You should not need to take abuse from anyone. It is also bad for children to see that behaviour as it makes them feel that they also should accept it. Along the lines of battered wives or children tend to run down the family tree.

My fault I just assumed & you know what they say about that. Glad you're out of it. Enjoy the rest of your break, you deserve it & sorry I misunderstood.
