    It is not an appeal but we know what you mean; it is a defence.  Presumably they have acknowledged receipt of your defence and told you that they will/have send/sent a copy to the claimant who have 28 days to respond.

    Hi all - Just an update on my case. 

    Following my defence submission on the 14th June, today I received a letter dated 18th July "please note our intention to proceed with this claim" and that's it. It came from QDR solicitors.  

    Wonder what would be the next cause of action.

    It's exactly the same checklist that you were following when you filed your Defence.

    Just go back to that checklist and items 7, 8, 9 and 10 on that list have the answers you are looking for.
