ok, phew - as mine is at 50 pages, I've included the Excel vs Wilkinson Approved Judgement – Bradford CC - which is 10 pages long - does anyone have a link to a clearer version, as the one I got is blurred.
I've just searched the forum for you and seen that @B789 posted a copy on 24 February at 6:39PM.

You'll have to ask him where he got it from to post in his Dropbox.

    Another one bites the dust!!!!

Case dismissed by the judge and I've been awarded 50% court attendance costs + parking for a couple of hours by an order.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped with the case.

You guys are amazing and so knowledgeable.  The judge was very nice and acknowledged the amount of research and prep that I had put into the case.

Looking back, without the support of this forum and key players, I never could have done it or gone through and persevered.

The hearing was over very quickly & I was nervous about what to say, but as the other side didn't attend (which they had informed me and the court) this made it easier.

I would say, the legal stuff does take a bit of time to understand - but it's worth it - but you do need to know your case and how all the legal stuff applies in your situation.

The crib sheet prep was invaluable, although I didn't need it.

    Great weekend ahead!!!!

    Well done!  Yay!

Bet you are buzzing!  What a way to start the weekend...!

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Apart from the Trading Standards and MP complaints (and getting it in the local newspaper to encourage other victims...?) we have one favour to ask, please:

We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.

It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333036/breaking-news-government-has-announced-the-statutory-code-of-practice-and-enforcement-framework/p1

And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79310609/#Comment_79310609

Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens...

    ...anticipated by July...!

We need people like you and your driving family & friends to respond in high numbers!  You have a personal story to tell about the culture of getting a roboclaim 'legal' firm to add a pointless £70 for their own profit, to be let loose to intimidate people.

I am sure you want your voice heard to stop this happening again.

Well done you, nice one. Can you tell us on what grounds the judge dismissed the case please?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • It was on signage - the judge was not too keen on the 'I was not the driver' explanation.... but then the judge mentioned signage, so I didn't argue - took my victory!!!! whatever way I could

judge said, we get a lot of these, and most of the time they don't turn up

Signage - the most important defence point - in almost every case.

Great stuff!  See you in August for our final 'call to action' as explained above.
