Left over veg curry, veg rice
    pork chop, stir fry veg
    salmon, stir fry veg x2
chicken liver, bacon and mushroom pasta x2

Hoping to have lunch with friends on one day, but that doesn’t happen I’ll do something simple like an omelette.
  • One minor change but it was only that the pasta had LO roast veg in instead of sweetcorn 🙃

This week looks a bit like this:

Sat - prawn saganaki, tenderstem broccoli, crusty bread
Sun - salmon, new potatoes, tenderstem broccoli
Mon - tuna pesto pasta, peas & sweetcorn
    Tues - beans on toast
Wed - chorizo, roast pepper and new potato hash, fried egg
Thurs - lamb & rosemary sausages, cannellini bean & leek stew
Fri - nutty sweet potato stew, toasted pitta
  • Monday 2Oth: Egg roll in a bowl
    Tuesday 21st : Chorba Frik
Could have sworn I posted already, but mustn't have gone through.
I stuck to plan except last two meals again 🙄.
Partly because I couldn't find the little block of mince for Egg roll in a bowl (now found), and I needed to use up bits from a TGTG veg box.

    This week has been/is :

What with a ys bargain and unexpected visitors the menu plan went to pot.  The coming week is a bit of a problem as I’ve just realised I will be away the week after so I’ll be using up what I already have and then living out of the freezer to avoid buying too much in the way of perishables.

Left over veg curry with veg rice
left over chilli con carne with veg rice (might stretch to 2 meals)
mackerel with salsa and spinach x 2
bacon pudding with parsley sauce, peas and sweetcorn
    faggots, onion gravy, baked potato
    prawn risotto

Other than a couple of changes to veg accompaniments due to no tenderstem, stuck to plan last week. I’m out for one night and off on Friday (when I’ll do a new plan) so a short week:

    Sat - tapas, crusty bread
Sun - LO tapas (out for lunch)
Mon - feta and roasted pepper orzo
    Tues - beans on toast
Wed - salmon with cannellini bean and leek stew

It’s going to be short week for me as I’m going away for a few days.

    Prawn and asparagus risotto
bacon pudding with parsley sauce, mushrooms, purple sprouting broccoli, mange tout
hm faggots and tomato sauce, purple sprouting broccoli, mange tout
    vegetable curry with veg rice

  • All planned and small shop done, another week of being out a bit so using things from the freezer in between.

Fri - pea, prosciutto and pesto pasta
Sat - something on toast (out for lunch)
Sun - lamb & rosemary sausages, cannellini bean mash, broccoli
    Mon - out
    Tues - something on toast
Wed - prawn and broccoli Thai green curry, noodles
Thurs - tuna steak with Mediterranean lentils, spinach and sun dried tomatoes

I’m making parsnip, butter bean and rosemary soup for the week’s lunches.
  • Everything is vegan
Stuck to plan ingredients wise. Mushroom risotto ended up being mushroom pasta and Courgette and Aubergine ended up in a Thai curry.
    Last week's plan so far:

    Wed: Asparagus soup and bread
    Thurs : Thai curry leftovers
Fri:  Potato and Butternut squash dauphinoise
Sat : Impromptu belated mini birthday buffet for granddaughter (7)
TONIGHT: TBC but maybe something with savoy and carrot (from TGTB box) or I'll make soup from the carrots and have that with something.
Not particularly hungry right now so don't know what I fancy.

I'll come back with next week's plan later or tomorrow as I want to start running it Monday to Sunday. I've ran it Wednesday to Tuesday, because when I first posted; that's just what day it was 😊. Time for a change!
