Back from my trip and ready to meal plan again. Pretty sure I’ll be out with friends on at least one day, so 6 meals to find. And I’ve got lots of foraged/scrumped apples to use. Perfect with the wild blackberries.

Melon, pork chop, broccoli, mange tout, cherry clafoutis, kefir
melon, roast veg lasagne, salad, rest of the clafoutis, kefir
melon, 1/2 poussin, roast butternut squash, spinach, blackberry and apple crumble, kefir
melon, 1/2 poussin, salad, blackberry and apple crumble, kefir
Moroccan lentil stew with spinach, rice, stewed apples, custard x2

  • Running a bit late this week as I did a bit of a recipe search this morning - I feel I’ve been living off turkey mince, chicken and fish for way too long. Haven't had lamb for ages so picked up a couple of leg steaks and there is some pork mince leftover from the meatloaf I made a couple of weeks ago so going to try a pork & prawn concoction.

Fri - Smoked fish pie, brussel sprouts
Sat - SC Moroccan style lamb steaks
    Sun - Spaghetti carbonara
Mon - Lentil & sweet potato curry
Tues - Pork & prawn filo parcels or  https://www.deliciousmagazine.co.uk/recipes/stir-fried-pork-and-prawn-balls-with-cabbage/
    Wed - Egg and chips
    Thurs - Chicken curry

  • Mine has all bumped down a day due to there being leftover Gumbo still to use up, and no room in the freezer to freeze it for another time.

Lemon and courgette pasta will be on Sunday, as I need to stick to the same meals on Friday and Saturday. Then will pick back up with the pot pie on Monday and so on

  • No plan as such from me this week, I'm in the "red warning" area of Storm Babet. Supermarkets haven't had deliveries for two days due to road closures/flooding on main arterial routes. My local SM has no milk, bread, F&V, chilled and frozen almost gone.

So for me its some wonderful creations from the freezer/cupboard stocks but I'll get back on track next week.
