Running a bit late this week as I did a bit of a recipe search this morning - I feel I’ve been living off turkey mince, chicken and fish for way too long. Haven't had lamb for ages so picked up a couple of leg steaks and there is some pork mince leftover from the meatloaf I made a couple of weeks ago so going to try a pork & prawn concoction.

I've been m.i.a for ages from here, but I'm back hopefully for the foreseeable.
I've already done months meal plan this month
So here is what I am eating this week.i have my Granddaughter at the weekend, so have included meals I know she will eat that are also vegan, so I don't have to adapt them for myself.

Mine has all bumped down a day due to there being leftover Gumbo still to use up, and no room in the freezer to freeze it for another time.
Lemon and courgette pasta will be on Sunday, as I need to stick to the same meals on Friday and Saturday. Then will pick back up with the pot pie on Monday and so on

I have some spinach and half a carton of passata left over from making lentil stew, so if I pull some cooked mince out of the freezer and add the passata, spinach and some fresh basil I reckon I will have a couple of portions of a sort of bolognese sauce. I also have mozzarella to use up. So the week is looking like this:
plaice fillet, stir fried veg in oyster sauce
pasta bolognese x2
gnocchi, butternut squash, mushrooms, pesto
roast veg lasagne, salad
sea food lasagne, salad5 -
Another week rolls round, feeling wintry here…going to make a batch of Nana’s magic soup for work lunches, some will go in the freezer to start a stash to choose from 🙃
Sat - sausage, new potato and carrot traybake, sugar snap peas
Sun - smoked salmon sandwich (out for lunch)
Mon - creamy bacon and sweetcorn pasta, broccoli
Tues - beans on toast
Wed - cheese and biscuits (out for the day)
Thurs - prawn and broccoli Thai green curry, noodles
Fri - salmon with creamy pesto sauce, new potatoes, broccoli5 -
No plan as such from me this week, I'm in the "red warning" area of Storm Babet. Supermarkets haven't had deliveries for two days due to road closures/flooding on main arterial routes. My local SM has no milk, bread, F&V, chilled and frozen almost gone.
So for me its some wonderful creations from the freezer/cupboard stocks but I'll get back on track next week.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
