Meal plan for this week has the aim of just using stuff from the freezer so I can make space ready for Christmas food:
M - Carbonara and salad
T - Fishcake and mixed veg
W - Tteokbokki (Korean spicy rice cakes), Korean (air)fried chicken and pickles
T - Fishcake and mixed veg
F - Out for a friend's birthday
S - Pulled pork, mac and cheese and coleslaw
Breakfasts are a mix of smoothies, cereal and toast. Lunches are mainly lentil soup as I made a big batch yesterday but a sandwich or two if I feel the need to mix it up.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171 -
Some repeats on the meal plan, as I was feeling ill most of the weekend, due to medication and so had no appetite.

Alot of meals didn't get made last week. I was suffering with nausea most of Saturday and some of Sunday and Monday ( side effect of my medication).Thankfully I managed to stomach some normal food on Sunday though.
So, meals rolling forward will.be as follows
Cottage pie ❎ or I'll do it deconstructed style as savoury mince, mash and vegetables.
BBQ Jackfruit ✅, something with Butternut Squash ✅ and Butter 'chicken'.
Last night we had Dahl and Roasted cauliflower with homemade naan ✅
Tonight is Chilli and rice with cornbread ✅
And I'm going to have an attempt at Leek Quiche ❎ using Tofu at some point too.

My plan has not gone to plan at all.
We had sausage pasta instead of sausage and mash.
I couldn't get the vegan chicken fillets from Ald!, and forgot to get mixed nuts in Home B@rgains for the walnuts.
Same with the pepperpot stew, I need courgette, so i'll push it forward. As I've just. Bought aubergine for something else. So, not buying courgette aswell right now.
The Vivera 'salmon' is still at my daughter's, so can't get that either right now. Will also push that meal forward.
Will aim to still do the pizza and winter stew 🙌🏻
