Little mid week update with not very much to say!! Solicitor was in touch saying they are still awaiting the leasholders pack from the vendor management company- Hoping this comes through soon as sure there will be some queries etc. Been packing up a few boxes and doing sort outs as i go- need to get to a car boot sale or it will all end up to charity as it defo needs cleared before i move!

    Hoping for the following
Exchange before 28th June as thats when i need to give my notice to rental
Break up for holibobs 6th July
    Travel 8-17th july
    Complete w/c 18th july
Move out of flat by 28th July and hand keys back

so that would give me a 10 day window of crossover on properties.

Im going to pay someone to move my stuff- 3rd floor to 1st floor and too much furniture to do it myself!

Anyway I await more info and news so will update when i have it!

Hope it goes to plan. Paying someone to help you move sounds a good call.

Well! No updates from me since 8th June and i have precisely nothing to report! Still waiting the leaseholder pac from the vendors solicitor- I will chase again on Monday through my solicitor and the estate agent as i really want to exchange over the next 2 weeks!

Got quite a few spendy things coming up to pay for but its all budgeted for however it has been done int he hope that i have completed and got my deposit back for my rental- if not i may need to tap my mother up for a bit- she will be fine with that and knows as soon as the deposit comes back i will repay! just need the timing of everything to work out in my favour.

I ended up finishing wiwth the guy i had been seeing for a few months as he was really boring me! I made all the decisions, he was quite happy having tea, watch a film and go to bed every time we saw each other and i defo want to be wined dined and romanced a bit!

Went on first date with a guy yesterday evening and had a great time so will se ehim again- although he defo seems more keen than me but thats not a bad thing!

So will update over the week if there is anything that moves if not will be next weekend!

Caught up with my solicitor this morning- Still waiting for the leaseholder pack- He says often this takes upwards of 3 months! Surely there should be some sort of legislation on these things!!!

Anyway exchange isnt happenign this week so another rental month will go by!!

Im keeping it all crossed it can go through within my summer holidays or moving could become a nightmare! On the happy side it means another month of savings to add to the pot at least!!

I remember that mine went on for like 5 months ish, no chain, no renegotiation, nothing. It was lucky though because I saved a lot in the meantime.

Well its been a hot minute!! Cant believe how quickly time is flying by, although purchase is slow!

Had good discussion with Solicitor at beginning of week and have said i know he has all the documents and searches etc so why are things not moving!! He waffled a bit but has agreed to work towards exchnage next week on the 28th!!! Very exciting!! He has also said there are no makor enquiries, issues, problems etc with the packs and searches so he is happy for me to hand in notice on flat on 28th even if he has not quite completed everything he has given reassurance that it will be done with in 2 days of that date.
Im not 100% sure whether to rely on that so will wait until i get all the paperwork on monday/tuesday!

Other news- Dating is slow and nobody very exciting on the go at the moment!! Holidays are fab and trip to scotland was pricey bit fun!!

Comm Games next Friday and thn back to Scotland for a nother break!

Hope forum life is good for you all and hopefull on next update will be a moving date!
