Im ill!! All the signs are pointing to covid- lateral flow are negative so far! Throat on fire, ache from head to toe, shattered and zero appetite! Just trying to keep the liquids up at the moment.

In Property news- have chased the solicitor today with a "whats outstanding question "and to see if we can get an exchange date soon :)
Also emailed my current landlord to see if they will accept a mid month notice period of a month as and when i know when exchange will be!
As i work in a school my school holidays start 6/7= 10 weeks from offer- I am off away from 8th-15th so ideally if i could get the completion date as w/c 27th June I could move over that week, clean the existing flat that weekend and hand keys back before i left. so when i got back i would have 2 weeks of holidays to get settled! Might be ambitious but fingers and toes are crossed!

If this doesn't work i may need to delay completion until i am back on 15/16th July, hence questions to my landlord as my tenancy runs monthly to the 28th of the month!

    Anyway back.to bed!

    Morning All,
Landlord has confirmed it must run to 28th of the month so looking like 28th June will be notice given and 28th July out the flat.
I have just heard from my solicitor that the searches are due back early June and he awaits the leasehold pack. So once those are back we shall know more about dates for exchange but looking likely to be Mid july- which works for me :)

In other new half term next week and Im off to Spain to do some work :) hard life eh? Its extra pennies and I really enjoy it :)

Off to see new top gun this weekend- gonna try and get the new fella to pay as i have been cooking and feeding him the last few date nights! Got 6 bags of car boot goodies so need to find a day to do that as well! before the move so i can get rid of it to car boot and if it doesnt sell then to charity !

Sold my desk so thats being collected Friday evening and another £15 in the pot!

Have a great Thursday all x

coming in quite late to it and will depend on where you are in the process, but have you thought about putting some of your lump savings into a lisa and getting the bonus payout towards your first home?

Got taken out last night to see the new Top Gun, Maverick- Loved it!
Today i planned to have a quiet NSD but ended up being quite spendy! I walked round a market and found 2 silver rings i loved- TBF have been looking for a long time for one but ended up being 2! Stopped in at A**a on way home and they had shorts, top and trousers i loved so changed a voucher for £25 and spent £12 on those and 2 packs of thin bagels yellow stickered at 10p for the freezer!

Tomorrow i drive to Luton and fly out to Salou for 4 days for work, im really lucky in my half term from school to get some work in the sunshine doing what i love! They pay my flghts, mileage, parking and then its full board and I get £200 on top! All helps as was panicing slightly about money and where was i gonna find the solicitors money when they demand it and as I havent seen the leasehold pack yet if they ask for the service charge upfront im gonna have to ask my brother for it as until my deposit on the rental flat comes back, obvs will be after i move out, !

But I'm sure it will all be fine and I do have all the money i just don't want to use a help 2 save account as i will lose the final bonus on it!
Will cross that bridge when i come to it! Off to the sunshine see you all on the flip side!

I'm not advising anything. But... My management company didn't put my name on the demands for about a year, maybe a year and a half. So I didn't pay it! The prior owner didn't pay for about 2 years prior to that as well. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine!

    Your half term sounds lovely!

And back to the UK i come! Had a great couple of days over in Spain in the sunshine doing my hobby and getting paid for it! Awaiting hte payment for it coming through but for 1.5 days coaching and 4 days away it works out that i gain £205 total after expenses and everything else so its a tidy wee job and a free holiday!

Was looking at my loan that i got for my car- The only debt i have currently- Payment is £236 per month for the next 3 years and its on 6.2% but it doesnt look like there is much better out there when i look at the elgibility checks etc, and with mortgage and exchange etc i dont want to apply for anything at the moment!

Might look to overpay it though instead until i get rid of it earl y and then overpay mortgage- Will have to do some sums!

Did a full budget with actual spends from my bank account over the past 3 months to get a true picture of what im spending- Those coffees out with the cake need to Stop ! But otheriwse it matched my budget i had previously done so was happy with that!

2 bank holidays have written off this wewk with any updates from anyone! Will do some chasing Tuesday and see where we are at!

    Have a great Plats JoobS!!!!
