Currently with Octopus as ex-Avro - wondering if a switch to Utility Warehouse (I could take 2 other services from them) or Green Energy is worth it? We are currently paying £460 a month. Would love some thoughts on staying or switching in my situation

Their new "Crystal Ball" feature really focuses the mind:

You're using a huge anount of energy, 10920kWh/yr of electricity (more than 3x the average) and 25443kWh/yr gas (more than 2x the average). Can you cut back?

V3 is gone, "V4" (July 2022 v1) has much higher caps, 16p/kWh for gas and 55p/kWh for electricity.

  • I'm with British Gas. Just noticed a new tariff being offered (when logging into my online account - quite by chance!)

Tariff is called Exclusive Fixed Energy v16 and well worth it if it's being offered to you, check it out!

Yes it is. Surprisingly good at this time.

Who is the supplier and what is the name of the tariff?

It's BG not sure of the name. Just not sure if I should fix or move onto a standard. I find it hard to work out how much more it is than the standard in %.

It is based on my use of Electric 6,487kWh and Gas 7,642kWh

I'm surprised British Gas has offered that tariff - Personally, If it was me I would take it... it sounds like a tariff as good (if not a tad better) than I signed up to back in June before the predicted price rose to today's shocking level. That was with British Gas to.
