Thanks for all the help, much cheaper than the fixed Tariff I chose on Friday
"The cap that's active when you sign up will be in place for the length of your tariff" (12 month fixed term)
"Once you've signed up to the tariff, the cap will be in place for the length of your tariff (12 months)
I am on earlier version BTW

Glad I followed the advice on here. I contacted them late afternoon yesterday via twitter and had it confirmed within the hour. I had already emailed them on Friday evening but they would not have looked at that until Tuesday so may not have been honoured,

Guess I'll just keep having cold showers whilst it's still warm, to save money to pay for the Gas when it's too cold for that.0 -

Very briefly, I was offered (by SSE overseas call centre) a renewal rate prior to switching over to OVO but OVO would have to do it once my account was live on their system. Once the switch was done, the offer was then declined by OVO who insisted that the call centre were not allowed to make that offer and being overseas they would not be able to listen to the call. Then after hours on the phone over the past 2 months to various departments at SSE and OVO, today they agreed to go back to a May 22 tariff and fix it for 2 years. Earlier today I received another email saying complaint was in deadlock so take it to the ombudsman but I reminded them what a 5 point contract was in law. Probably could have taken it further but I'd lost the will to live talking to them. All ended up ok I hope and the guy who sorted it was fantastic.

Hi, as this is the thread linked to the "should I fix calculator", could I ask the MSE team, will the internal workings of the calculator be amended as and when to reflect changes to predictions.
I have seen today (31.08.22) that the Auxilione predictions have come down (not sure about CI).Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0
