If you are already with Octopus did you have a look at their smart tariffs like Octopus and Tracker? That will be much cheaper.

I've secured a fixed deal with Sainsburys Energy from when my current deal finish on the 6th October this year, sounds too good to be true so I'm hoping that it is all legit but would welcome anyone pointing out a glaring catch if i'm not seeing it!!

CURRENT TARIFF

Gas 3.8p/kwh 19.27 p/day Electric 19.53p/kwh 18.04p/day

Standard Variable Tariff from 6th Oct when current one ends

Gas 7.34p/kwh 27.22p/day Electric 27.8p/kwh 49.65p/day

Fixed Deal I've been offered by email (I was offered this in June but only action ed it today but they seem to have honored it) from 6th Oct

1 year smooth renew v15 direct debit version

Gas 9.84p/kwh 27.22p/day Electric 38.19p/kwh 49.65p/day

These rates all include VAT and there is no exit fees.

What do people think?  I've had it confirmed by email but it hasn't come up on my account yet though

The tariff has been withdrawn a long time ago, it is currently at version 20 or 21.

It’s now on v21 as I got v20 in Tuesday and that got pulled

Yes but I do not have smart meters

For the gas tracker, you can submit normal reading regularly.
for Agile you need a smart meter, but I think you can ‘book’ the tariff whilst waiting for the smart meter to be fitted. 

Agile is capped at 55p.
gas tracker at 16p

That's why I'm a bit worried as earlier in the day my account was showing the v21 tariff but I replied to the email from Sainsbury's Energy I got in June and someone got back and said I could still have the v15 tariff.  they were going to update my account they said so I'm keeping an eye on it

Monthly cost - £172.78
