My house went up on right move yest, less than 24hrs later, I've got 8 viewings booked. It's madness!
I know this may not translate into offers but still, wonder how many more to come lol
If it's been popular, how long before you've closed your viewings?
I had in my head 2 weeks but might be able to reduce this down to 1.

Wait until the viewings have taken place before deciding to do anything. Lots of viewings does not mean lots of offers.3

Some friends have had their property on the market for 3 weeks now. Had 26 viewings. No serious offers. Seems as if there's caution in the air. Now that interest rates are rising. That big multi decade mortgage is no longer as attractive.4

I had 20 viewings in the first week , chose who I wanted to go with, full cash buyer nothing to sell, fell flat on it's face day before exchange
Went with 2nd in line , couple in rented but needed a mortgage , survey & valuation all fine now waiting to exchange in the next few days ..fingers & everything crossed as I've been surrounded by boxes, quite a few re-opened . We aren't buying so slightly less involved
Wait until you get full offers before stopping viewing & don't remove off RM until checks have been made1 -
interesting, I guessed this might happen at some point - people will still be viewing out of habitThrugelmir said:Some friends have had their property on the market for 3 weeks now. Had 26 viewings. Seller's market. A lot of properties I am seeing online stating fully booked.
Some sell stress free, some fail to complete and the circle continues.
Next months, years will be interesting.

One of the properties we weren't able to view had had 180 requests for a viewing.0

There is not a lot of properties coming on the market, so when they come oversubscribed.2

I had 20+ viewings and 2 offers. One of those offers was withdrawn for being made to wait for an answer to be given (which is what the estate agent advised me to do on the grounds I would get a lot more offers), so if you get a good offer you could consider just taking it straight away.mayling03 said:My house went up on right move yest, less than 24hrs later, I've got 8 viewings booked. On the buying side we have seen typically a house gets 1-2 offers from 5 -10 viewings.1 -
This is really useful - thank you. Would you have gone with the withdrawn offer? I know my house is in a sought after area, so I think I can hang out. If they wish to withdraw just for me to think about it, I would think they are a nightmare to deal with anyway!shefmarkh said:
