    Could it be mouldy nuts?

Do you remember the old song based on the advert?
What has a hazelnut in every bite, and all the naughty children would shout squirrel !!!!!!

If you do open the second one, don't just shove anything you find in there into your mouth this time, especially if it smells strongly of poo.

I've always found that good advice to live by.
Rat poo won't smell if dried out but will if moistened by chewing. Yuck

For those who have asked for an image, here is the evidence I sent the manufactuer.  The spat out 'foreign object' has dried out somewhat now.  I haven't had a response from Fererro Roche so I have now contacted Environmental health.  I have a second unopened egg which I can also send in as evidence as there may also be a 'suprise' inside given they would have been made and packaged together.
What kind of animal produces blue/grey poo? It definitely doesn’t look like chocolate (so wouldn’t have been putting it in my mouth) but I’m not sure it looks like poo either…
What are you looking at that is blue or grey? It looks really dark brown to me.
The stuff in the white cup. Maybe it’s the screen on my phone but it looks navy to me.

Looks blue to me.  I wonder if it's something like pest control poison, or congealed gunk/plastic from something that's failed on the production line?

I can never understand why people always claim it made them vomit. On the rare occasion I have had a bite of something which has maybe gone off, if it tastes disgusting its a case of spitting out, saying 'yuck' or words similar! and washing my mouth out with water.

I have never vomited. But I suppose if there was compensation on the horizon I may claim to have.

There's gone off food and there's animal excrement.  Not quite the same.

That's almost certainly just an artifact from the photo.  It looks like dried rat dropping to me.

I colleague of mine from work once got some in his mouth and he was very ill for several weeks
What did he get in his mouth?

he was very ill for several weeks
Can you be ill (or even very ill) for several weeks having 'got some in [your] mouth'?
