    Sainsbury's Instant Mashed Potato

    4x110g sachets for £1.10 or £2.50/kg
    NOW
    2x80g for 90p or £5.63/kg
I don't use it much (but instant mash is recommended as an alternative to breadcrumbs for coating and it's GF)  but I like to have it in stock, just in case.

We used to use the Asda smart price one which was about 28p for 120gm. It hasn't been available for ages. Can anyone recommend a good cheap alternative please.

Not a specific item increase but I've noticed that some "final day" discounted prices at my local Lidl which used to be 20p are now 70p or even 90p.  (As an example, that is product A which used to be regularly discounted to 20p is now reduced to 70p - an increase of 250%.)
