It isn't easy but has to be done .Back working again tomorrow, it comes round so fast. Looking forward to meeting my friend tomorrow night in the big shopping centre .My DS's birthday today , I can relive it like it was yesterday , happy memories .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

Shopping day with parents and my own as well , food prices still shock me . Have managed to siphon off £130 this month to top up pots £30 underspend in food budget owing to being away for a week this pay period. £100 from personal spends have popped in the holiday fund .New budget starts Saturday so will be filling up pots again over the weekend . Time for a coffee before going to get DGD for her swimming lesson.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

I agree at the price of food, I was shocked at the price of baked beans. I usually buy my favourite brand when I go to c@stc@ a tray of 24 cans…..works out really cheap….but they didn’t have any. It was £4.99 for 6 cans in Morris@ns. Think I’ll try to downgrade. Not desperate yet so I’ll shop around to see if they’re cheaper anywhere else. 😳
Holibob funds are coming along nicely 😁👍January spends - £587.581 -

Prices are definitely rising fast. I shop around to try and get the best prices but still not happy about paying £1.25 for a loaf of bread and that’s from Lidl 🙁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Today is my best friends 60th birthday lunch , I am looking forward to it immensely. She is away for her actual birthday so today it is. No grandma duties today either so a morning doing not very much. Tomorrow I am having my mum and dad over for Sunday lunch , will be at DDs in the morning for Mothers Day breakfast made by a 9yr old and 6 yr old. 😂.Hoping to go into work on Monday but still not sure I am feeling that sociable we will see.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

It wasn't so long ago we used to buy Br@nst0n beans at 31 for a 4 pack on special offer - then it went to £2 for a 6 pack which I was still happy enough with...can't get them for anything like that cheap now! We've switched to mostly using Ald1's own brand ones now - they're nice enough.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
