Thank you Milann and SSG.Working from home today for a change and tomorrow.Sunday was spent doing more errands for mum and dad , then home to do my ironing. My DS brought his girlfriend round for me to meet , I think this one may be the one ☝️.
Bit of a quieter week planned, well hopefully.Had a chat early morning with my SIL in Australia, they have been asking when I will be coming over again. Not sure when that will be, will have to see.I got my Xmas stuff out at lunch to put up later , nearly finished work for the day .Thinking of an early night tonight.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
How lovely that DS has met someone he wanted to bring to meet you - definitely sounds like a positive sign doesn't it!
Love the picture from the park as well - giant ducks!
Also glad to hear the NY trip was as good as you'd hoped it would be - it's somewhere I'd sort of like to go, if only to see the 911 memorial. Some friends of mine were there a few years ago and I remember them saying how moving it was. My inner tube geek would definitely be making sure I rode the subway though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Well not a good start to the day an hour to do a 5 mile journey this morning, anyway I got to where I needed to be the supermarket and two lots of shopping was duly done. Then a bit of housework at mum and dads , nothing strenuous. Whipped dad to the doctors for his appointment and back home . I was then treated to my dads lovely veg soup. Back home by 2.30 , I have watched a Netflix film and done not very much after that.Just over two weeks to the big birthday , going to look at Railcards tonight and see when I can apply for that.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Housework done this morning, some phone calls confirming birthday events. This afternoon have to take mum to a hearing aid appointment, then get DGD for her swimming lesson, should be back home for 7pm.Mr first gas and electric bill was £105 for a month , but then the £66 off , can cope with that. Have nearly £1000 in my fuel account, hoping to save it for next winter .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

That's good going on the credit. You could look at some of the savings rates though and earn interest on it. That said - my credit going into this month was about £450 so I agree it is reassuring to have.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
