Good flight over , very quick through customs , love having my fingerprints done 😂. Luggage on the carousel and no taxi queue.Hotel ok , room a bit tired but a decent size for NY 2 double beds .Today we are off uptown, Central Park , fifth ave and everything in between.Been awake since 5.30am .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Had a brilliant birthday trip, everything went very well. The airports were all easy to get through. New York was busy as ever , but the prices were so expensive. They were rather ridiculous actually, we didn't succumb to them.The 9/11 memorial museum was very good and very moving . The Empire State Building has been revamped at the top and is much better .The hotel was in an excellent place and our room was very quiet .We walked 10 miles a day , never used the subway.I am suffering with jet lag .Anyway I came home with around £400 so that has gone back in the holiday account,not one penny on a credit card , so much more enjoyable.The next thing to happen is my pension lump sum will hit my bank account in the next month, so I am looking where to put that.Tomorrow I am off on my yearly Xmas markets trip and a birthday meal after.Watching strictly then off to bed .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2
