My application was submitted same time as you and evidence 10/5/22, barclays requested extra information 14/5/22 (benefit award letter) valuation was done by the estate agents last Thursday and santander confirmed last Friday( via phone)  they have it and it states accepted, but apoarantly they now don't have my partners April payslip which broker stated she submitted 10/5/22, but broker re-sent and sent email to a manager last Friday as they could mean waiting another 5 working days, gonna chase again tomorrow via phone and broker
They did something similar with my partner's April payslip too. I uploaded it okay, but the MA asked me to upload it again.

The MA advisor also says there's been a unprecedented amount of applications sat with the underwriters.

Oh No, that means we have to wait longer? I am in a chain, and I am desperate to know their decision. I hope we will be able to hear this week.

The advisor said they have it now when I called but anyones guess what they might need next time, hopefully all OK now. So much pressure this mortgage lark, but I made the barclays advisor run though everything they have so I know for next time

My MA have everything they need from me so the application can go swiftly as she said. This waiting game is very stressful, I think its not help that I am in a chain. My other half really like this house, we dont want to lose it.

Our valuation is finally booked for 8 June. We applied on 17 May so three weeks from the date of application. Hoping the approval comes quickly after the valuation like it seems to have been for other people on this forum.

My case manager is back to me saying Barclays ask for more documents ( third time ), she will review and let me know what I need to provide. This going back and forth is very stressful. Although she mentioned that the application has been subjectively agreed ( which I have no idea what does that even mean ).

Just been lurking around before but I might as well join in.
May 11 - Hard and soft search done
May 17 - Full Application via MA
May 23 - ask for more information and paperwork. I don't even know if we already have Valuation, but I was told it was only desktop one.

Since then there is no update, and its driving me crazy. I just hope we can have an update this week.
    Similar journey to mine Jodi.

A desktop valuation is just that, it's done at desk without the need to visit the property.

I had a HomeBuyers Survey done separately from the mortgage application for piece of mind.
Have you got any update yet.  I have not got any on my end, I know desktop valuation has been done, but not heard any update since.  I don't know how long will it take for barclays underwriter to make decision after valuation.

    Hey Jodi,

No update either, and I don't expect to hear anything soon, with the extended bank holiday either!

We only sent drivers licences, I hope that's not the next thing! Gods sake. I don't get why they done tell you all they need ar the beggining when they first review the documents,, mine was a benefit letter then over a week later then a payslip, its madness , im getting seriously worried about this now, so frustrating! Why is whats good enough at the start not good enough later on?
