A witness statement is telling your story, your defence was more like a witness statement than a defence, but somehow I think you will get away with that.

Start with your defence, read it a few times and then read other witness statements as suggested above. The mist will clear after a while.
So far this is all I have, without the boring stuff I obviously have to put in format.

I was paying monthly to Sitel UK limited to park on the 3rd floor of Earlsdon park multi-storey car park.

Sitel UK limited have a number of spaces available to them in EPMSCP car park for their employees.

I was parking in EPMSC from 05/2018 until I went on maternity 01/2020 which is approximately 637 days, and was only sent 7 charges, coincidently along with many other employees of Sitel UK limited.

Other employees that received the same  wrongly given charges had theirs erased, except me, who was on sick leave.

I was issued 7 parking charges with no consecutive dates, despite me working 5 days a week, parking in exactly the same place every shift.

I was parking without being sent charges for over a year before any of the charges in question came about.

VCS have sent me an email stating that there was a lot of confusion at this time and over 100 vehicles were added and removed from the list of permitted to park vehicles in a short space of time.

OK so that gets added to the exhibits, and Google Streetview will assist you with photos of signage.  Also include evidence of your work as another exhibit, and any emails you have from the employer confirming your right to park, or apoologising, or telling you other people had their charges cancelled (whatever you have).

Plus I've pointed you to other threads that already have the standard exhibits like Excel v Wilkinson.

    All exhibits need a number.

    All pages need a number.

I can’t find signage as it’s a multi-storey and the signs are mostly inside the car park, but also, how do I go back in date to 2019 on street view?
  • All I can find is this and it’s very unclear as it’s someone else’s picture

Similar to Albert Street Birmingham and a few others where Excel and VCS got muddled:

    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.com/2014/12/excel-parking-services-ltd-try-one-two.html

As it's multi storey you might not be able to see any signs on Google Streetview anyway.  Terrible reviews online for that dirty car park, with people stealing bags and of course, people getting unfair parking charges.

I WON!!!! the judge was not satisfied that they were going by Vehicle control services and Excel parking Services and dismissed the whole thing, it was a 2 minute call and just like that, I WON!!!!
    Well done you!

ANOTHER VCS ONE BITES THE DUST!

And we sincerely hope you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Govt Public Consultation?

Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open later this year.

We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA gaslighting of people.

If PPCs manage to turn around the decision on banning the gaslighting / claim-funding 'fees' then the DLUHC will be rubber-stamping £200 parking charges and if that happens, they (Government) and the PPCs will wreck high streets and people's lives.  Whoever is responsible, if that happens (and it very nearly did in 2021) must hang their heads in shame.

Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?

Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.

Then join us when the Consultation opens.
