I'm hoping it will be no shoes when I get back from my holiday but who knows what she's thinking.  I've been wearing the lightest sandals I could find - in fact I was going to put them in the bag for the charity shop as I really don't like them but as they are the lightest I'll keep them, even once we don't need to wear them in case anything comes up!

You've just reminded me I need to put my box of crackers into the motorhome - I'll add it to the list!  It's getting longer and longer but it's all stuff I can't put in until Tuesday or even just before we leave on Wednesday.

    Hi all,
Have been at DS1's most of the weekend, laying composite decking and building a garden room. Only managed to fall over once - more like DH pulling me over yanking a beam of wood I was holding. I landed on my knees and wrists on a really grubby tarpauline. Took lunch with me yesterday. Today I took some fruit and a hifi bar and bought some bits in Tesco.

    Food today:
    B - WM toast, spinach, poached eggs, mushrooms - HEB, P, S
L - grapes, strawbs, blueberries, snack pack veg sushi, popcorn - 6
D - slow cooked gammon in diet coke, sweet potato wedges, broccoli, carrots, green beans - P, S
    HEA - milk
Syns - hifi bar 3 plus 6 for lunch so 9 total

Have just prepped breakfast and lunch for tomorrow as I'm in the London office again. Have a good evening everyone.

    Morning all,
Just on quickly before I get ready for my day in London. Lovely and bright here today. Am taking one of the new hi fi bars today. Jam-tastic - usually eat it on the train home as my little treat!

    Food will be:
B - overnight oats, mullerlight vanilla, frozen cherries - HEB, 0.5
L - LO chilli con carne with rice, grapes, strawbs, blueberries - S
D - turkey meatballs, arrabiata sauce, spaghetti, parmesan - S, HEA
    HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar 3 plus 0.5

    Have a good day all

morning all, lovely day again so a machine load of washing on and will hang outside.  Will do another load afterwards and also get out on the line.  Then that's it I'm not doing any more washing before we go.  That will leave tomorrow free to do anything which needs doing, including making sure the bungalow is clean and tidy ready for our return.

Have you tried the Jam-tastic yet @Coxy11 or will this one be your first?  Have to say I'm not too keen on them so DH will be eating the rest of them.

    Today's plan:

B - bacon sandwich - HEB; P (was supposed to be bacon and mushroom but used them all up over the weekend!)
L - Jacket potato; beans; mixed leaves (that will be the end of them!) - S; F
    D - LO roast pork, chips, beans - P; F; 3

Double dose of beans but DH and I only half tin between us (mainly because I'm not keen on them!).  Won't need them tomorrow so twice in one day today!

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - frozen chips 3

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  Well done on the losses to everyone that's lost - lots of posts to catch up on and not a lot of time to do it 😆  Had what was supposed to be a major root canal treatment on Friday but half way through drilling, the dentist realised that what she saw on the xray wasn't a damaged root, it was probably just a cavity on the side of the tooth at the gum line causing the pain 😳.  So a change of plan and lots of filling and I was out in 25 minutes rather than the hour that it was supposed to be.  She'd injected so much local anesthetic that it looked like I was having a stroke so was glad to wear a mask to stop the stares as I walked back to the car.  Have spent the weekend eating lots of mushy food and will try some more substantial stuff today, but will have to be chopped very very small.  Glad it wasn't a full on root canal because I was stressing about it so much but as she hasn't blocked the nerve, it's now hurting more than ever 😂

Anyway, had a couple of very soft boiled eggs this morning with a bowl of blueberries, raspberries and the first of our homegrown strawberries and a slice of bread.  Lunch is a chopped salad with chicken, roast broccoli, red onion, lettuce and tomato in a herby lemony dressing (literally lemon juice and chopped herbs with a little red wine vinegar) and dinner is a beef and pak choi stir fry (again with home grown pak choi) and rice.  Also planning on going for a run / walk later if I feel up to it and not too sorry for myself.

Forgot who it was talking about drinking more water and not so much tea / coffee; every time I make a hot drink, I also make a glass of squash or water at the same time.  I find that it helps keep me hydrated and means I don't have to get up quite so much to get a drink - once the hot one is done, I can just make my way through the cold one.

Hope everyone has a good day!

    Hi all,

Our consultant had chopped a few Jamtastic bars up for us to try as we weighed @joedenise. They seem quite sweet so will be just what I need for the journey home when I'm flagging!

It was me @rubyeskimo regarding the soft drinks. That's a good idea. I just wish I had a locker to keep ambient stuff in at work. Have today bought in some squash in a 750ml bottle so I only have to add water from the tap here. Think I might get one of those 'shots' squash bottles from A!di to keep in my laptop bag.

We use the squash shot things when we go on holiday as it just helps make water all the more enticing when it's important to keep hydrated, plus they don't take up much space and there are lots of different flavours available.  We don't have lockers either at work so I have about 3 bags of stuff I take in with me "just in case" so I know how you feel 😆

That's good news about your tooth @ruby_eskimo, hope you feel better very soon.😊

They were promoting those new HiFis at my group too. Apparently they're a bit like Jammy Dodger flavour. Hope you enjoy it @Coxy11. I prefer savoury flavours myself. I wish they'd do something like cheese biscuits. I suppose it's because they think most people doing SW miss sweet stuff most.

You seem to be in the office a lot more recently @Coxy11. Has Jacob Rees Mogg been leaving you little notes? 🤣

My Ocado order is due in the next hour just arrived as I was typing this.  Turkey mince is one of the things I've bought so meatballs on the cards here too. I have a hair appointment straight after lunch so have just about managed to get all the meat into the fridge and will portion up for the freezer later.

It's exciting that your holiday is getting so close @joedenise. How do you manage with washing when you're away for a long stretch? Do you go to laundrettes? 🤔 Fortunately, our apartment has a washing machine so I'm able to come back with everything clean. It's no trouble doing it while I'm away as everything dries so quickly. 😎

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- ham (P), fried veg and beetroot (S), possibly a potato ?  (F)
D- baked salmon (P), cubed potatoes (F), carrots, green stuff, mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
    Syns- 0

I wish @maman - would love to frame a note from JR-M to hang in the downstairs loo lol

I flex my office day to suit my boss. She's only in today then on leave until 7 June, so I'll get a long stretch WFH now.

Just had the LO chilli con carne and boy it was delicious.
