Hi all, I had the expected gain this morning 2.5lbs but I’ve enjoyed every moment and am happy with that. Only one week left before DS1 is away again and if it’s a similar gain, so be it. I know it could be so much more if I wasn’t attending class and my consultant has been very supportive so far.
Will need to read back but well done to the losers and have a lovely holiday @joedenise

I've tried making my own sweet and sour sauce but never been happy with it. Will ask for ideas when I've used up the Uncle Ben's. 😊
Although I've got 3 relaxing weeks in Turkey to look forward to, I am envious of your plans for France. We've had so many great holidays there. I loved the East, especially Alsace. So pretty with the German influence around Strasbourg. I also love Brittany and we are close enough to have had super weekends in Normandy. Honfleur is a favourite. Do try to keep in touch when you can get WiFi. 😊1 -
Well done @bubbs a loss is a loss. Woman next to me this morning is playing yo-yo with the same half pound. Odd group this morning just concentrating on party food given the upcoming Jubilee. That’s not bad @Jellybaby considering all the entertaining and eating out.We are going to the Isle of Wight Thursday to Sunday. It’s our silver anniversary on the following Tuesday but DS2 has an exam that day so we can’t abandon him! We were originally looking at a European city break but glad now we didn’t book given the flight fiasco this week!Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 17/25 Currently reading The Ghost Fields by Elly Griffiths1

Yes, Jubilee taster was mentioned in our group too @bubbs . I won't be there so didn't pay much attention. To be honest, I've never enjoyed tasters as I always have breakfast before group and don't want to eat, especially sweet stuff.
How's your week going @beanielou? 🤔0 -
Morning all, looks a little cloudier today and a shower or two is forecast for mid morning.
No tasters at my group - my consultant is sort of following covid restrictions - it was only a couple of weeks ago we were allowed to not wear face coverings. We still have to wear shoes to weigh. I think most groups have already stopped both those things weeks ago, certainly my old group has.
Went way off plan yesterday - think I'm already in holiday mode, that needs to stop until we actually go!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - Welsh rarebit - HEB; HEA2; P; F
D - roast pork dinner - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEa2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2
Have a good day everyone.

We stopped wearing shoes for WI at least two months ago, probably longer @joedenise. My consultant said it had been introduced to speed things up, presumably so you didn't stay close for too long. I did wear the lightest flip flops I had but I was pleased when it stopped.
I will definitely be going off plan when I'm on holiday. I love all the aubergine and courgette dishes they do in Turkey so plenty of Speed but there will be oil and chips, far more bread than usual HEB and lots of alcohol syns. As we have an apartment, I'm thinking of taking some Ryvita to have with breakfast to keep the bread consumption down a bit. When I was first getting to target I used to take those Danish Krisproll things with me but they're not a HEB any longer.
I'm super organised today as I prepped everything yesterday anticipating that I needed to go out to help DH with a project he's working on. In the end some of his friends offered to help so I wasn't needed. All I have to do is prep some greens, everything else is ready. 😇
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- Spanish omelette (F,S), pickles (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😊0
