Morning all, forecast to be another lovely sunny and dry day so getting the bedding washed and out on the line as early as possible (they're in the machine now) as we need to go and pick the motorhome up. The first thing which I'll need to do is give the fridge a good clean as it's obviously been closed for a week without power so it's quite likely to be mouldy! It's usually stored with the door open so that doesn't happen. Will also give it a good clean including washing the floor and will plug in the electric to cool down the fridge so we can get it loaded before our holiday.
Well done @annabanana82 on telling that little demon voice to go away and not be tempted to eat rubbish. Don't worry about going over by a few syns on one day you can easily pull that back. An analogy consultants often use is you wouldn't throw away a whole bunch of flowers for one wilted one would you? so one day off plan is just like that wilted flower. Draw a line and then back on plan. You can still get a loss.
@maman - that's a good price for the chicken thighs at the Company Shop and very surprising that the bone in, skin on ones were the same price - unless that was a bigger pack perhaps? Prices seem to be dearer down in the South than North where @bubbs Company Shop is.
Good luck for WI @bubbs this morning.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - burger and onions in WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5
D - cheese and tomato pasta bake - P; S; F; 3.5
HEA - milk
HEB - WM roll
Syns - LF sausages 2; LF burger 0.5; cheese sauce mix 3.5
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone,
Like @joedenise said, it's bright and sunny here. Have been to group and got 1lb off - same pound I put on last week! I won the raffle again (that's 4 times in 8 weeks!) and it was the little BBQ book which I've already got, so I asked her to pick again so someone else could have a chance of winning.
I'm off to DS1's today for more garden work. DH is already there having taken DS2s little popop. I've bought meal deals for DH, DS1, DS1s gf and one of their mates who is changing the fuseboard there today. They have no fridge hence me taking lunch. I've done a packed lunch for me using the bento box I won in the raffle a couple of weeks ago. It has separate little compartments which is great.
Food today:
B - overnight oats, mullerlight vanilla, cherries - HEB, 0.5
L - LO chicken tikka cubes, homegrown lettuce leaves, tomatoes, pickles, 3 rye cakes, cottage cheese with pineapple, melon, strawberries, blueberries, hi fi bar - S, 6.5
D - pan griddled lean pork chop, gnocchi in cream, cider and mustard sauce, green beans, broccoli - 11
HEA - milk
Total syns - 18
High on syns today but it's the start of a new week so will claw that back. I'm going to have to weigh in on Tuesday as we are away Thursday-Sunday for our wedding anniversary.
Have a good day everyone,

Well done on the lb loss @Coxy11. You'll soon pull those few extra syns back even if you are weighing early. Have a good anniversary break. Where are you going?
I saved myself 0.5 syns on lunch! Thought it was one of the butcher's low fat burgers but it was actually a home made one so syn free.

Yes, good to see that pound gone @Coxy11. Good luck with losing something in the next few days. 😊
I think you're right @joedenise. It's not just the Company Shop, the general cost of living seems to be higher around here. I remember a friend taking me to a super restaurant in Blackpool and I just couldn't believe how cheap the prices were. I suppose the rents must be more expensive here too so they have to claw back their money somehow. Good news about the motor home so plenty of time to get prepared.
I used the Ocado code myself yesterday @bubbs so thanks for the heads up. Meat and some store cupboard stuff is arriving on Monday. 😊
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- tuna salad (P,S), lentil and veg soup (P,S)
D- sweet and sour chicken (P,S), noodles (F)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, Ben's sweet and sour sauce 1.5, weekend wine😊0 -
I'll be using the Ocado code too when I come back from holiday as will definitely be needing a stock up and have run down freezer and cupboards - down to about 3 tins of tomatoes which is unheard of for me and hardly any beans, think there's one tin of haricot, a tin of kidney and one of butter beans although I do have some dried mixed beans and chickpeas plus various lentils so wouldn't be the end of the world if I can't get the tins!
Have mostly packed the motorhome as far as we can. Most clothes are in but just waiting on some new t-shirts for DH - mine arrived today so they've gone in. Tin drawer and condiments are all in so it will just be the fridge and freezer to pack on Tuesday now plus DH's Ts which are due to arrive on Monday, cutting it a bit fine but it's not like he won't have any to wear if they don't arrive in time.

Afternoon all
Well done Coxy
1/2 off for me, better than nowt but fed up of trying so hard
I wouldn't pay that in company shop 😂 i know mine had bone in but was a bigger pack £1 and mini breast fillets £1, maybe i am tight 🤣
Been nice here too, 3 loads done and dried
I have not used Ocado yet but glad people have used it.
Maman how do you only use 1.5 syns of sweet and sour sauce, you must have about a tbs?and no juice 🤔Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
I make a syn free sweet and sour sauce @bubbs. I'll see if I can find my recipe as can never remember it off the top of my head!
There's a couple of syn free sweet and sour sauces of the website as well as one that is 1.5 syns but not used any of those.

At least it was a loss so don't knock it @bubbs. Maybe more next week. 😊
I'd love to get the bargains you do but I'm happy if it's cheaper than I can get elsewhere. I'm lucky that the Company Shop is only a couple of miles away so nothing lost if there's nothing suitable.
I use half a jar for the 2 of us. It works fine with noodles as it just coats them. I'd have to use more with rice as that soaks up the sauce. When I've used up the Ben's I'm going to use sweet chilli sauce as it tastes very similar. Unless Ben's is on offer somewhere. I often see the full fat but rarely the NAS. 🤔
You've done well to get the motor home sorted @joedenise. I think the weather should be good. Where are you going?1 -
We're meeting up with friends at a place about an hour from Calais (it wasn't planned but just found out they're going to be at the same place as we'd decided on as our first night's stop!) but no idea after that! But we'll probably go down the East side and then after a couple of weeks work our way across country to the west side and then come up through Brittany into Normandy where we're catching the ferry back to Portsmouth. Not looking forward to that part of the holiday as it's an 8.30am ferry but we have to be at the port at 7am but at least it means we get home at a reasonable time as the ferry is due back at about 1.15pm and Portsmouth is about 3-3.5 hours to home.
Isn't sweet chilli sauce high syn than the Ben's NAS sweet and sour? I thought it was a couple of syns a Tbs unless you make your own?
Sorry @bubbs forgot to say well done on the loss, it might only be a half but at least it's off and not on. Think you definitely need to keep up with the syns to lose though.
