At least if you have a gain you will know where it's come from @beanielou and you enjoyed your off plan meals.  Sorry to hear it's raining now.  It's an absolutely beautiful day here and still quite warm although there's a bit of a breeze now and definitely cooler than it was earlier but to be expected really considering it's 7.15pm!

I buy them mainly for DH but do have one now and again.  As I said I get them in Home Bargains - not seen them anywhere else.  Somewhere like B&M might do them but can't say I've seen them in there although I don't go in often.

I have never seen them in B&M and always in there 🤣

    Morning everyone,

Bit of a miserable start today after yesterday's wall to wall sunshine. We were at DS1s and were helping him lay some decking. I got a sunburnt neck! Saw that the motorway was closed @joedenise as DS lives in Maidstone. What a pain but good that you didn't go off plan!

I had very little food yesterday. Had breakfast here of WM pitta, poached egg, baked beans and a bowl of melon and strawbs. Didn't have lunch. DS1 and GF cooked a bbq so I had one pork sausage, loads of salad, and a slice of halloumi. Also had 1/8 of a Lidl strawberry cheesecake.

    Food today will be:
    B - melon, strawbs, bacon, mushrooms, poached egg - S, P
    L - 3 x ryvita rye cakes, FF cottage cheese w/pineapple, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles - 1/2 HEB, S
D - diet cola chicken, rice, banana, muller light toffee - F, 0.5
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel
other 1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
    Syns - 0.5

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Morning all, what a difference a day makes!  It's so miserable and very showery and forecast to be like this for the next couple of days, may even have thundery showers tomorrow afternoon!

Going to friend's today now that the motorway is open!  We knew it was closed yesterday @Coxy11 but didn't expect the traffic to be as heavy that early on a Sunday!  It certainly wasn't anywhere near as heavy last weekend when we went down and we left a bit later so hit the A2 around 10am and we sailed through no problems at all, although a bit slow in places but that was mainly down to traffic lights, apart from that we kept moving the whole time.

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - P; 0.5 HEA2
L - bacon sandwich with brown sauce (at friends - must remember to take my bread!) - HEB; P; 1
D - beef short ribs, mixed stew veg, mash - S; F; 9 (200g of cooked rib which is about 1/3 of the rib and about 1/3 is bone!)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - mozzarella (0.5)
    HEB - bread
Syns - brown sauce 1; beef rib 9

    Have a good day everyone.

Didn't manage to post again yesterday. I was fairly busy but my back/neck is sore so trying to limit screen time. I did stay more or less on plan except for one small sandwich, probably 6 syns worth. I am feeling quite slim at the moment so need to think again about how to best time my next WI. 🤔

I'd add mushrooms (last 10 minutes) and whole cloves of garlic to the roasted vegetables @annabanana82. I like roasted cauliflower florets too. Good that you know your mum will produce a SW friendly roast.

Did you make a plan with your friend to have a bacon sandwich and take your own bread @joedenise? I like it when I can take  my own food to dances as I feel much more in control.  Buffets always seem swamped with bread, pastry, crisps and sweet stuff.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, fried eggs (P), tomato, mushrooms (S)
    L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S), 1 potato (F)
    D- sausage casserole (P,F,S) with pasta (F)
    Syns- Aldi sausages 1
