@maman - yes I did actually remember to take my own bread with me and had bacon & brown sauce sandwich (no butter).  Sorry your neck is still sore, hope it's feeling a bit better today.

@bubbs some good bargains again at Farm Foods and it certainly looks like normal instant coffee to me but like you I don't drink it.  I only drink coffee made with beans at home or if I've ground them myself to use when we're away in the motorhome!  No doubt you'll get more bargains at Company shop!

Sounds like you've got a busy few days coming up - don't overdo it.  It sounds like you're rushing around more now than you were when you were working!

I didn't have anywhere near 200g of the meat - more like 50g but I'm going to count it as 100g.  Have binned the rest of it as it was really greasy and has left my teeth feeling horrible and needed to clean my teeth immediately after!

Thanks for the kind thoughts. I got to see GP and he's given me cream for it, stronger than OTC stuff that I'd tried. He says it's tense muscles. He wanted to give me diazapan or similar but I find muscle relaxants just wipe me out and I can't drive or even stay awake. 😴

    Same about the meat @joedenise

That coffee is a good bargain @bubbs. I'll see if they have it in our Farmfoods. I rarely drink coffee at home but it would be good for the food bank. Good luck at Company Shop. It'll be interesting to see if they have much as I think shops are being more careful with waste. I got 29p Jersey Royals and 25p bag of kale in the little Coop by the surgery. 😊

    Hi all,

It's turned rather wet here tonight after a glorious weekend. Had a good weigh in tonight, I'm down 2.5lbs and my daughter a whopping 3lbs. My Daughter got her 1.5st award too.
