    Evening everyone,

I had my brunch and caught a 10:45 late running train only for it to terminate at London Bridge instead of Charing Cross. Meant a slightly longer underground journey to Euston. The buffet looked gorgeous but I just took a banana to have later and had water and tea. Was planning to leave at the 3pm tea break as had a headache all day but was persuaded to stay on. Had to have 2 Borders butterscotch crunch as could feel myself getting low blood sugar. 5 syns.

Rang DH from the train to be told that DS2 (18) had come home from his last day at school paralytic and DH had spent all afternoon mopping up sick and dealing with it. He’s never been good with sick (let’s face it, who is?!) but DS2 now showered and sleeping it off. God knows what he’d drunk but lesson learnt as he was sick in the Uber and had to pay a £60 valeting fee. Stupid boy.

    and breathe……

    Morning,

Will check out the Ocado deal @bubbs thank you x

DS2 is up and relatively unscathed. Seems to think he is going to a party tonight - err I don't think so mate! He will be too busy cleaning his clothing and the bathroom thank you very much, and making up to his DDad who is still traumatised by the sick!

I am WFH today and food will be:
B - Aldi blueberry fruit wheats*, pineapple, strawbs, blueberries - HEB, S
    L - Cheese omelette, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles - P, HEA, S
D - haddock and prawn traybake, diced potatoes, carrots, broccoli, green beans - P, S
    HEA - milk
    Syns - hi fi bar - 3

*can have 45g of this cereal. It's a new one for me, so will see what it's like

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Morning all, up early and ready to get going - have already had breakfast.  Needed to get sorted out early as having smart meters installed today and they just give a time frame of 8am-noon!  Didn't want to be in the middle of cooking or eating breakfast if we're first call!  Knowing my luck they'll turn up when I'm cooking lunch!

Oh dear @Coxy11 - good your son is OK this morning.  Definitely make him clean up his mess - nothing worse than sick on clothes, yuk!

    Today's plan"

    B - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; HEB; P; F
    L - stuffed peppers, potato salad made with tinned potatoes -- S; F; 3.5
    D - toad in the hole, roast potatoes, veg - P; S; F; 6.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheddar
    Syns - 25g mozzarella 3; lardons 0.5;  LTL mayo 0.5; sausages 2; 25g flour 4.5;

    Have a good day everyone.

oh Coxy your DS reminds me of DS1, twelve years ago celebrating a friend's 18th, having far too much to drink (didn't take much actually!) and being sick in another friend's dad's brand new Mercedes!  He paid for it to be valeted but we were absolutely mortified.  We laugh about it now but DS nearly didn't see his 19th birthday

Dry so far today so have three loads on the line and hoping to pick up mum's prescriptions during my lunch break instead of tomorrow to save some time.   We're out for dinner tonight to our favourite restaurant and already know what I'm having

Class tomorrow, will see what the damage is and take it from there.  Clean jeans on this morning and fitting fine so hopefully not too much of a gain.

    Have a good day all.

Well DS2 has paid his dues and is very contrite. Apparently it was a combo of beef jerky, vodka and sours?! Yuck, just yuck.

I never thought I'd feel bad for an Uber driver but poor guy would be losing work as had to get the car valeted. Just felt awful for him.

Made my cheese omelette with smoked cheddar. Oh wow, so tasty. I also had the new to me cereal from Aldi. Looked a bit like mini shredded wheats. Very tasty and nice a sweet. Think there are two flavours - I had the blueberry one. I don't have a lot of cereal as it doesn't tend to fill me up, but I also had a big bowl of fruit this morning.

Has been raining solidly here and cold, but looks set to clear up from 3pm. All washing having to be dried indoors with the one load tumble dried - DS's work uniform for tomorrow.

Forgot to mention a NSV for yesterday. I wore a pair of trousers that I bought just prior to lockdown. Size M from Zara but always feel they come up a little small in there (and Mango). Anyway, they fitted fine and were very comfortable. I have half a wardrobe of smart stuff that I rarely wear nowadays so it's always a bit fraught to find something for the office.

    Enjoy your meal our Jellybaby!
