Hoping I can join in please, I originally lost 3 1/2 stones following SW, but unfortunately starting in the first lockdown I have managed to put nearly all of it back on. A visit to the drs for a 'yearly' check up and they have advised me to lose weight, surprise surprise!!!!! So I have to go back there monthly and be weighed, I still have my books and in all honestly I know what to do but I'm hoping by being along like minded people it will help me be more aware!! Ps I like the nod about the 0% gin!

Morning all, weather not looking as nice this morning.  Really glad I got all my washing done over the last couple of days.

Welcome to the thread (did you follow the link I put on WW's thread)?  You probably know it's me that started the conversation about the 0% gin!  You know that SW works so just ask if you want any syn values as @bubbs says there have been quite a few changes.  Not sure if you know you can have 2 HEAs and 1 HEB now as can't remember when that changed so it may have been just one of each when you were doing it before.  Feel free to ask any questions if you're not sure about something - there's usually someone around who can answer or look up syns or whatever for you.  Good luck.

Not sure what I'm going to be eating today as going to a friend's later and will be staying overnight so will have to sort out syns tomorrow once I'm hope and work out how much damage limitation I will need to do!  My friend doesn't drink so at least there won't be wine syns!  It will just be the food.

I'm hoping there won't be too many syns involved but there may well be for dinner depending on what she decides to cook for dinner - all I know is she is doing something with mince so it might not be too bad - as long as it doesn't end up as a pie or cobbler it should be OK 🤞.

Going to start off OK with a bacon & brown sauce sandwich - HEB; P; 1.  I think it's ham salad for lunch which will be OK and then something with mince.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning everyone,

Forgot to say well done to @bubbs on your loss and great that @Jellybaby only had a little gain. Good luck for this week x

Welcome @nannygladys, great to have you along and do ask if you need to know syn values etc.

It's just started to rain here, so I'm glad all the washing is up to date. I have a tiny amount of ironing to do later. Having slept on it, and after reading @bubbs comments, I don't think I'll go to the consultant event later. DD is going back to uni at some point today and I'd like to feed her up before she leaves, so the timings probably won't work.

Last night was a hoot. These ladies are wives of DH's friends and all the husbands are currently away camping. We laughed a lot and they managed to polish off 3 bottles of prosecco and a bottle of bucks fizz (between 3 of them...). I had 3 rum n pepsi max plus some nibbles, so definitely over what I wanted, but I had a good time. Bonus was watching Eurovision and us coming 2nd!!

I've had a nice bath this morning and tidied away the bottles from last night, and washed up the glasses etc. Will need to pop out for veg and then just have a chilled day with DD I think. Need to catch up on Sewing Bee too!

    Food today:
Brunch - poached eggs, grilled bacon, baked beans - P
Dinner - Baked haddock, carrots, broccoli, mini corn
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel
    HEB - hi fi bar
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Wow @bubbs! You've been busy cooking up lots of goodies for the week ahead. 😇

Welcome @nannygladys. I think loads of people gained during the lockdowns so you're not alone. It's perfectly possible to do SW without going to group. It's not easy getting started again as you may have stuff in the freezer/cupboards that need using up but it's always the right time to start! Just ask if there's anything you're not sure of.😊

Glad you had a good night @Coxy11. Weather's been horrible here, don't envy your DH camping. I'd rather stay home and drink prosecco! 🤣

As expected, syns were mostly in salad dressings last night. I did have one piece of quiche as a friend had made it and it would have been rude to say no but other than that just mayo and 3 hours of dancing to balance it off. Far less syns than if I'd stayed at home and opened a bottle of wine.😉 I did get fishcakes in Morrisons beforehand and pleased to say they are still 2 packs for £4. I picked up some Oxo red wine stock pots too and they were on offer at 2 for £2.

I've batch cooked swede and carrot mash in my biggest saucepan, so some for today and some the freezer.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- veggie omelette (P,S), salad (S)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes, LM stuffing balls (F), many (6?) vegetables (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine😋

I'm not surprised you were full. That salad is enormous! 😋 You'll probably get away with no syns today as you had a fair few yesterday but you might fancy something later. 🤔

It's cleared up here now and the sun is shining, still having roast though. 😉
