Morning everyone,
What's that you put on the crispbreads @bubbs is it sardines? The rye cakes are nice @joedenise - a cross between ryvita and rice cakes - less squeaky on your teeth iyswim? I think they'd be nice with philly and marmite mmmmm.
I had another hifi bar plus some snack a jacks last night so ended the day on 7.5 syns.
The bolognaise risotto was okay....bit time consuming as like all risottos you have to keep adding stock and stirring. I found some risotto rice with truffle specks in the cupboard that was dated Jan 2020 - was part of a food hamper SIL/BIL got us for Christmas once. We are still alive so must be okay! No idea if any syns in truffle as not listed on the app? Two portions frozen for the freezer/lunches next week.
Hope you enjoyed the film and meal out @maman
Today I plan to do more washing - managed to get some dried on the line before the heavens opened yesterday. DH is going to Wales for the weekend camping with his mates.
Food today:
B - melon, blueberries, strawberries, All Bran golden crunch, banana, milk - HEB, HEA, S
L - tuna and crabsticks, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles - P, S
D - SW sausage tray bake, potatoes, butternut squash, red onion, broccoli, carrots - S
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar - 3
Have a good day all

Morning all, weather looking a lot nicer today than it was yesterday. It rained yesterday afternoon so was glad I didn't do any washing! Have put a load on this morning which I'll hang out shortly.
The last time I did risotto I did a baked one and that worked pretty well. I've also done it on the hob and added all the stock at once but that didn't work quite as well but it was OK.
The rice sounds nice for a change, think I'd allow a couple of syns for the truffle if there's any amount of it in with the rice as it's quite possible there's also a bit of oil in it.
I did have 2 crisp breads with Primula last night plus a hifi bar so that was my HEB and HEA2.
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
L - mussels in white wine sauce - P; S; 4.5
D - Chicken breast, roast potatoes, roasted Med veg (picked up YS in Marks last night); purple sprouting broccoli (also picked up YS)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - white wine in mussel sauce 4.5
Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone, just popping in to see if there’s room for a little one (coughs shiftily)? I have just renewed my online sw membership after realising I’ve reached another personal best…in fact 12lb’s more than when I joined sw the last time 😧. I have 2 stones to lose, which is really hard as a. I’m a very slow loser and b. I really love chocolate, crisps and chips and anything quick and processed 😢 I have started already, but choices are limited until the food shop on Sunday, when I’ll be better prepared. I have ordered in some skinny whips, as there’s no local supply, to use for my sugar hit.I love seeing the food pictures. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Welcome @WinterWarrior. It's always hard to get started until you see off food in stock and get a SW friendly meal plan and shop done but better to make a start than put it off. Do ask if there's anything we can help with. 😊
Film is tonight @Coxy11. We've decided to go to Zizzi as it's easy and usually just some oil if I go for a pasta dish. Then there's the wine syns of course. 😉
Much better weather here too. Had a good walk this morning, already done 10000+ steps. 😇
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, fried egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk
L- ham (P), bubble and squeak, beetroot (F, S)
D- tbc1 -
Welcome @WinterWarrior - another slow loser here and a big fan of chocolate!
Ah sorry @maman - enjoy yourself tonight!!
DH is about to head for Wales. Last minute panic as he couldn't find his belt!! I'm looking forward to an early night and nice bath/face mask.

Welcome @WinterWarrior, glad you decided to come and join us on here! As @maman says just ask if there's anything you want to ask. I'm another slow loser - 0.5 - lb a week usually, although I've had a couple of 1.5lb losses recently. Small gain this week but that was because of wine syns so not drinking wine this week. Will leave that until next month when I'm on holiday!
As you can see (if you've read the previous posts) some of us post our menu plans for the day. You'd be welcome to do the same if you think it would help.
Just to let you know the Skinny Whips are 4.5 syns each so easily fit into the plan. If you want to have chocolate then a good quality dark chocolate is lower in syns than milk chocolate! I buy the Lidl cheap dark chocolate which is only 1 syn per square and a couple of squares is plenty for me for a choc hit!1 -
@joedenise I’m not a fan of dark chocolate sadly 😢 I’m getting Alpen lights in as they are always good for a low syn treat….and Freddo’s for when only proper chocolate will do 😬
I had 40g Shreddies with skimmed milk for breakfast and ham salad with a level tablespoon of light Mayo for lunch. Veg rice will be tea/dinner, which is just mushrooms, peas, onion in a chicken stock cube, mixed into cooked rice. I will get fancier after the weekend shop 😁

Today's food doesn't look too bad considering you're waiting for a shop. Bit light on syns though and it looks like the only syns is the Tbs of light Mayo.
