Still good over the two weeks @beanielou. Don't let it dishearten you , losses don't always (often?) happen in a weekly pattern. Keep plodding!! 🤣1

@Gettingtherequickly sorry to hear your sad news.
The worst bit about going slimming with my daughter is when our results go in opposite directions. My Daughter put 1lb on but not sure where it came from, I really felt her disappointment.
I lost 2.5lbs and got my 2.5st award. Going to try hard to lose 7lbs in 3 weeks now, really feel as though I'm moving from obese to overweight.
I seem to have been inundated with bad news recently, most hasn't been too close to me but the latest one is, so I have a bigger incentive to get fit and healthy

Morning everyone, an early post from me as I'm in the office today - boooooo
GTQ - sending you lots of love - it's not an easy time for you but take comfort that your DMum is safe and pain free. Take care xx
beanielou - that's still a loss, keep going, we are cheering you on xx
annabanana82 - fantastic that you got your 2.5 award - keep going. Your DD will get that small gain off in no time I'm sure.
Yes maman I've done that recipe a few times. You cook chicken breast (meant to be a crown) in stock, cut up and then add to sauce of onion, garlic, chopped toms, tom puree, balsamic, chilli flakes and mascarpone. I cubed some potatoes and added those in (once cooked). Syns for the mascarpone 100g for 4 of us. Served it with green beans.
We are watching Happy Valley at the moment (series 1) - I know it's old but we haven't seen it before and my god it's really disturbing!
Food today:
B - overnight oats, frozen cherries, mullerlight vanilla - HEB, 0.5
L - mini chicken satay sticks, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles - 3
D - sweet and sour pork - approx.10(?) as uses pork belly....
HEA - milk
Snacks - hi fi bar - 3
Total syns planned - 16(!!!!)
Have a good day all,

Morning all, a bit grey this morning but forecast to brighten up later and should be quite warm again.
Will need to go shopping this morning as my list is getting quite long and I think I've still got some more to add to it once I check my menu plan for the next few days.
@Coxy11 - will you really be having 100g of pork belly in your sweet and sour? It also depends on where you bought the pork belly as the same amount of meat is different syn values! For some reason the average is 9.5 syns per 100g but if you bought it from Lidl or Morrisons it's only 7.5 syns per 100g! So it's well worth looking up the syn value or come back here if you haven't got access and one of us can look it up for you.
Well done @annabanana82 on your loss, your DD will soon shift that small gain. We don't all lose even if we eat exactly the same foods - it's just how our bodies work.
Today's plan:
B - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; HEB; F
L - kedgeree - P; S; F (should have been for breakfast but forgot to get the smoked haddock out!)
D - ham and mushroom pasta bake; green veg - P; S; F; 3.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - Sainsbury white sauce mix 3.5
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, well done to all the losers and thinking of you GTQ, it's a very difficult time for you.
Many alcoholic syns were consumed last night after a very stressful trip to the airport that involved many roadworks and diversions (despite being told there was none from someone who travels that route every day!) then finding the usual short stay carpark is now long stay and having to explain all this to a voice through the ticket machine with a queue of disgruntled drivers behind me! Anyway, DS is home
Breakfast and lunch on track - bran flakes (HEXB) with f/f Greek yoghurt and berries and lentil soup - going out for dinner but the restaurant has plenty of SW friendly choices so should be fine. No alcohol tonight!
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Morning all. So sorry to hear about your mum @Gettingtherequickly, sending you all hugs. Well done on the losses @bubbs, @beanielou and @annabanana82.
Had a busy weekend with getting stuff done around the house and DH's birthday Sunday (we went out for lunch and then to watch some wrestling 😂). Have maintained this week which is amazing considering what I ate over the weekend but think the 21000 steps on Sunday helped!
Had some scrambled egg and toast for breakfast this morning and then lunch is going to be the last of the butternut squash soup I have in the fridge (found another portion I forgot about!). Dinner tonight is a tomato and pepper risotto based off of a gousto recipe I found online that sounded interesting. Has smoked paprika in it so should be tasty.

Thanks for all of your lovely hugs etc, so much appreciated. Just taken a call from her GP, threw me into a panic, but she was only ringing to see how she is, hospice seems to have forgotten to call her to let her know she was settled in! The absolute joy of coming from a small area, where everyone knows each other, well, to be fair, we have known her all her life, her dad was our GP until he was forced to retire from the health service a couple of years ago, they are made to retire at 70, he is a damn good doctor as is his daughter, so a lot of people have lost the benefit of his knowledge & ability.
Not been on plan today, but not synned either & I know I need to eat but not in the mood for it.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
