Enjoy your trip to the Company Shop.😁
My consultant says 'Fail to plan, plan to fail' @OWD_nana. I've meal planned weekly long before SW, as it saves waste and saves time as I can just whizz around the supermarket with my list of essentials. I have a mixture of cooked from scratch meals and HM ready meals from the freezer from batch cooking. If plans change then the frozen meals roll over. I really only plan dinners as I just buy in ingredients for breakfast and DH chooses what to cook. 🥰 Lunch I have leftovers from dinner or a jacket potato or an omelette mostly.
Oh i will, i am meeting my friend, we have both loaded our cars with bargains to swap, i guess there will be tears at some point to when we talk about Dad 😥
Oh i always say fail to plan, plan to fail too 😂 i only go down the aisles where i am buying things as well i don't look at others 😇🤣Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:1 -

Morning all! Welcome to the thread @OWD_nana and @savingholmes the more the merrier here!
Hope the weather gets better for you @Coxy11 although it definitely sounds like an adventure!
Still not feeling great but not going to complain about it as it won't help 🙃 Seem to have lost my appetite a bit (think its the antibiotics) so no breakfast yet this morning but have options if I need something (scrambled egg, weetabix, porridge etc.), otherwise lunch is the pork mince stir fry thing I batch cooked yesterday and dinner tonight is meant to be a thai red curry but might have to make 2 versions as DH likes his chunky and I'll have to chop everything really small 🤣

Morning all, another dry and blowy day but forecast to rain later so going to leave the washing until the weekend, which is when it's actually forecast not to rain!
What a kind person @bubbs. That will help your mum enormously when out and about. Hope you have a good trip to the Company Shop with your friend. No doubt we'll see pictures and be jealous of your bargains! Have you been recently @maman? I so wish we had one locally but nothing near me at all.
@Mrs_Ryan would it be better if you cut down to 15 syns a day for a while before trying to cut further? It's a big drop from having 20 syns down to 10 or so.
Going to have another Low Syn day today - ended on 4.5 yesterday as had one of DH's coconut and choc bars last night! Should have just had some grapes or satsumas really but still not too bad.
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - prawn salad sandwich - HEB; P; S; 0.5
D - cold gammon, chips, beans, pickles - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - mayo 0.5
Hopefully I won't end up eating any chocolate tonight - although it is the start of my new week today even though I'm not going to WI.
Have a good day everyone.

Well it hasn't turned out to be a Low Syn day after all! DH bought in some really soft fruit teacakes and I couldn't resist so had one with a bit of butter so have gone just over syns at 16.5 but easily pulled back tomorrow. Have to say I really enjoyed the teacake so didn't mind "spending" the syns.
Got round to cooking the falafels this morning but they were a bit wetter than usual so not sure if that's why they fell to pieces a bit more than usual but they still taste good. Think it might be something to leaving them in the fridge for longer than usual. I only usually leave the mix for a couple of hours rather than more like 24 hours! Only made a small batch this time but just as well with them not turning out the way they usually do!

I can understand you fancying the teacake @joedenise. I'm planning some hot cross buns soon. I so enjoyed the ones I had with my M&S birthday picnic last year. 😋
Welcome @savingholmes.😊 At least you're familiar with the plan. I think it helps to think of SW as a change in liifestyle to a healthier way of eating rather than a diet. Do ask if there's anything you want to know.
Sometimes it can be hard at first as we have food in the freezer or cupboards that's not SW but has to be eaten up as it would be wasteful to throw it away. If you can donate it or feed it to someone else then all well and good but otherwise just use it up as syns and then buy in SW friendly stuff in future.
You'll notice many of us have low syn/syn free days then others when we have loads. It's not the official way but works for us. Perhaps you could try something like that @MrsRyan? As you lose more weight you'll be getting closer to a maximum of 15 syns a day so perhaps try some low and some higher days?🤔
I'm curious if that gin & tango is real gin or just a flavour? 🤔
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- LO casserole (P,S,F)
D- SW Bolognaise (P,S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- 01 -
@maman the Gordons 0% gin is 0.5 syn per 50ml. I've thought about getting a bottle but it's just as expensive as the real thing so is it worth it? Perhaps @Mrs_Ryan can let us know! Maybe I should have had one when we went out for dinner on Sunday and then I could have seen for myself. Maybe that's what I'll do next time we go out for a meal. Sounds like a plan.
