The answer is NO 😪😪 they are reviewing it day by day, Mum said the lady was at the door stopping them, she said she was with Dad last night and he was really well.

Mum gave her the bag of provisions and she said you are a very good wife, Mum said well he needs milk and needs to eat!

He was going for CT scan this afternoon and if anything different would ring Mum

I have had fake KFC for tea

That's not good @bubbs.  Is is because of Covid or something else?  Your mum will definitely be upset if she gets there and can't see him.

The salmon curry was OK but don't think I'll bother again!  Any one got any other ideas for salmon other than dry frying or baking?

I marinade salmon with lime juice/zest, garlic, chilli, ginger and a bit of soy sauce

It's been the same here @bubbs with wards being closed to visitors, sometimes Covid but norovirus and similar too.,☹️ DD1 went with her elderly neighbour to visit his wife last week after a 3 week closure. Hope it gets sorted quickly for your dad or he comes home/into another setting with visiting.

I agree about the marinaded salmon @joedenise or something spicy with it. We often have roast cauliflower, sprinkled with garlic granules and paprika.

    So sorry @bubbs xx

That sounds nice @annabanana82 - after years of wrapping in foil with lemon juice/black pepper and baking, we've taken to dry frying now. Makes the kitchen smell though!

Thanks for the salmon ideas.  Be a while before I'll do salmon again though!

Lots of horrible diseases around at the moment.  Do hope your dad doesn't catch anything @bubbs.
