Oh dear @annabanana82. You seem philosophical about it. It's getting back on plan that matters.👍🏼 What sort of new look are you planning?🤔
I wouldn't be surprised if I've done much the same. I need to check when I have to weigh next to see how long I've got to rein back in.
Welcome @VALM , good to have you along. It's a lovely thread with lots of support and tips to keep us going. 😊
Good idea to have your postponed Christmas dinner on WI day @bubbs. That gives maximum time to get back on plan. That being said, your roasts are quite SW friendly anyway so shouldn't be too horrendous.
We're having 'normal' food today for the first time in what feels like an eternity. 😁 I need to do my meal plan later then I'll shop tomorrow for the week as usual.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, baked beans (F), fried egg and bacon (P), HEA1 milk for drinks
L- cold meat (P), fried veg and pickles (F,S)
D- meatballs in tomato sauce (P,S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- tbc (still got cherry liqueurs left😋)0 -
Thanks @maman I was a bit worried I'd feel awful after seeing the damage on the scales but I've no regrets, I ate what i wanted and I know I can stick to plan again, its just a blip.
My new look - I managed to get into a size 14 this Christmas so dropping a dress size opens up new shops and more confidence. I love irregular choice shoes, and just discovered Lucy and Yak so I'm going bright and bold into 2023, I'm embracing quirky, colour and patterns, and not hiding away in neutrals and darks.
I thought about dying my hair but that's probably not very mse and also a bit too much discipline than I'd like to maintainMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Welcome to the thread @VALM - good to have you along.
Thanks for sorting the new thread @beanielou, much appreciated x
I seem to be unable to walk past the chocolates without having one. Scales are currently saying a 3lb gain so I don't have much time to change things. I really fancy something light for tea and we have some fish in the freezer, so that's looking promising for tonight. DBIL will be bringing his teenagers round later, so we will see if they stay for food or just a flying visit.
Very good attitude @annabanana82 and one which I will be adopting come Saturday no doubt. I too am getting more into buying clothes (usually CS purchases!) and embracing colour. It definitely gives you more confidence when the lbs come off. Two people have commented that I've lost weight this past week, so I really want to keep it off. Still a way to go for me though and I plan to be at target for Easter. Please hold me to that!!

Afternoon all, I've no idea where this morning has gone other than popping to Tescos for some shopping. Had planned to do it at Morrisons last night as had ordered a Magic Bag but they cancelled it late yesterday afternoon so decided to just wait until this morning to do it, that way I can go on my own and not have DH tagging along and putting stuff in the trolley which isn't on the list! Shopping's expensive enough without "extras" we don't need. He's still got Christmas cake, panettone and there's sausage rolls and cheese and onion rolls in the freezer if he fancies those so definitely no need to pick up extras.
Agree with @Coxy11 you've got the right attitude about the gain @annabanana82; syns you enjoy are so worth it. Well done to your daughter with 1.5lb loss Christmas week.
Today's plan:
B - porridge; frozen fruit - HEB; S; F
L - gammon, smoked salmon, salad - P; S; F
D - salmon curry, rice - P; S; F (recipe from SW website but no idea if it's any good as not used it before but DH isn't keen on salmon just baked so needed something different!)
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge
Syns - none planned but may have a Skinny Crunch or something later; or maybe a couple of water biscuits with blue cheese
Hope everyone is having a good day.

I am so fed up of eating that I’ve only had a bacon roll today. Possibly a prawn salad for dinner as I’m craving fresh veg and the prawns need using.
I will probably have a similar gain @annabanana82 but we know the plan works and it will come off again. Well done to your daughter though, she will be delighted. I’d love a new look too so interesting to hear your plans. Will Google the shoes 😁
Hope you get to see your dad @bubbs or even just your mum gets in otherwise it’ll be upsetting for both of them x

That's not good @bubbs. Is is because of Covid or something else? Your mum will definitely be upset if she gets there and can't see him.
The salmon curry was OK but don't think I'll bother again! Any one got any other ideas for salmon other than dry frying or baking?
