I don't think it's the right time of the year for hiking @Coxy11. Perhaps planning for the spring? 🤔 You've achieved so much in the past few months especially with all the DIY. Do you ever get time for crafting these days?

We had a nice meal last night. The set menu that we often have has disappeared, not sure whether that's for Christmas or for ever. We'll see if it's just another way to bring in price rises. I had prawn cocktail followed by salmon with roast veg, spinach and new potatoes. So syns in mayo, pan frying and whatever they did the veg in. I know I can make better roast veg myself with Frylight! 🤣 I'm going to make some tonight to prove it to myself! 😁

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P)
    L- Spanish omelette (P, F, S), pickles (S)
D- LO cold chicken (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, roast veg, asparagus (S)
    Syns- 0 planned
(...unless tonight's football drives me to drink!)

I too love roasted veg @maman

We are planning to hike in April. Hoping to go from Lockerbie to Carnforth which will be c.10 miles a day which is doable on a daily basis. It's DH's 50th at the end of March so need to sort that first. Hoping to go to Florence :)

I'm quite hungry this afternoon. The HM soup was lovely though and funnily enough there's a work-based knit and natter which I joined today at lunchtime, so did some crocheting! Felt very indulgent and got to meet some others from other govt depts!

Went out to do some Xmas shopping - as always the most difficult is MIL, hubby is no help either as he never gives comment on whether he thinks she will like it.  Might try my SIL and see if she has any ideas on the MIL front.

Quite a nip in the air today.  Hurried home to my SW friendly chicken and leek casserole or stew depending on your thoughts on what is a stew or casserole.  Anyway slow cooker and all set when I got in.

L   Baked beans scrambled egg and mushrooms
D  Stew and extra carrots and mushrooms slice bread

    HEB  Porridge
    HEA  Milk

Syns 3 hi fi bar 3.5 syns neville br bread

It does look delicious @bubbs and not that many syns really. You needed a square meal! 😋

Christmas shopping sounds like a nightmare @Vegastare but good to come home to your SC meal, good planning. 👍 Would you post the recipe please. I'm trying to increase how much I use SC.
