Monster Yorkshire today @bubbs. 😋
I had a busy morning then out dancing this afternoon. Wasn't hungry enough to have lunch so picked at a shared tea at the dance. I didn't go mad but being back in range meant I could have a couple of little sandwiches and some crackers with pate. Otherwise I had fruit. Someone's had done some very SW friendly fruit skewers.
Breakfast was a fry up and we've had winner winner chicken dinner tonight. 😋
Hope the tests went OK for your DH @Abbafan1972. Did they give him results? 🤔0 -
It feels like Christmas is starting earlier than usual this year. 🤔 Driving home last night, I noticed some people have trees up already. Too early for me for decorations, but we do have some events leading up, starting with a meal out with one group of friends tonight. The next few weeks is definitely going to be a case of 'good when I can'.
Today I've had a SW breakfast (porridge with berries) and lunch will be my usual Monday's cold meat, LO veg and pickles. We won't be having festive food tonight (first turkey dinner planned for next week🤣) so I'll just choose wisely from the usual menu although wine syns will be involved.
Hope everyone's having a good day. 😊0 -
Evening all,
I’ve been in the London office again today. Took overnight oats (0.5) and some savoury rice (1.5) with me, plus grapes and a hifi bar (3). Dinner was smoked salmon and pea pasta which contained single cream (3). Total syns 8.Was just sewing a button back on my coat when I knocked a full glass of NAS squash on the floor. Have managed to slice my thumb whilst clearing it up. So annoyed!
WFH tomorrow. Hurrah! I agree @maman - too early for the Christmas decs to go up!Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0 -

Sorry to hear you've been stressed, 🤗 but that rarely leads to weightloss for most people. Silver lining? 🤔1 -
