Abbafan, do you know why you gained? Can't see it being last night if the rest was on plan 😏
I’m really not sure to be honest. I do feel bloated quite a lot and don’t go to the toilet that often. (That has been investigated and there’s nothing wrong, I just have to eat plenty of fibre).

Oh Denise I am so sorry and shocked.  Take care.
  • Morning all.  Well done on the loss @maman and sorry to hear about the gain @Abbafan1972.  And that sounds like such a headache @joedenise - hope you have a fab time when you eventually get there!

Didn't manage to go out last night as started feeling even more meh yesterday afternoon.  DH had a good time though and I just got tucked up in bed.  Currently working from the sofa today - lots of aches and chills, chesty cough etc.  So lots of fluids and paracetamol and don't think I'll be seeing people this weekend either.  Did managed to fix the washing machine yesterday though!

Not got a lot of appetite so jacket potato probably for dinner tonight and maybe some soup for lunch.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Well done on resisting the biscuits @Coxy11 and good luck to you and @bubbs tomorrow. 🤞

We've been out all day at a family funeral. Good to catch up with people despite the sad circumstances.

Had a SW breakfast (porridge) but did have some tasty beige food this afternoon (chips, drumsticks, spring rolls, fish goujons). Not sure what I fancy tonight, maybe a JP. 🤔

    Back on plan tomorrow. 😊

    Wot no KFC @bubbs! 🤣

The lamb is an excellent price but joints look too big for us. When we have lamb I generally buy a half shoulder. It's more fatty than a leg but delicious.

I had a JP with cheese and a few pickles, on a tray in front of the ⚽.

    Morning,
I'm off to WI shortly. Will pick up SOTW contribution on the way there and check out lamb on the way home as I'm staying to group today. We are seeing DD in Brighton later. There's a Christmas Fayre on the green by the Pavilion so expect I shall need to sample their mulled wine! Not sure what food will be later, but will have a hi fi and some fruit for breakfast at group.
    Back later with news.....

Morning all, just back from dog walk! Have you missed me? Didn’t think so! Easily missed these day as let the purple grow out & the grey grow in 🤣🤣. Getting grief off the kids though so after haircut later, will be going purple again 🤗

Been a while & a bit hectic! Been poorly, tried umpteen times to get Dr appointment. Hubby finally got me one at a different surgery but with nurse practitioner. Spoke to receptionist who knew who I was (so assumed she’d booked me in 🙄). Whilst sitting in waiting area, get a text saying I had missed my appointment 😤. Back to receptionist who got the nurse, she then proceeded to tell me I’d missed my appointment, got annoyed then and let her know in uncertain terms I’d been waiting half a (!!!!!!) hour!!
Had a quick lookin my throat (been sore with big white spots for a week!) “yes that looks sore” ( nothing else) 🤷🏼‍♀️. Have ongoing lower abdominal pain, no examination! Gave me pee/poop pots (sorry TMI). Wouldn’t examine my painful thumb joints as ‘need another appointment’ for that 🤦‍♀️. Said she would talk to Dr re pain relief for sciatica pain. So waste of time 😤
Get a text later saying another appointment would be made to see Dr ( this was last Monday) STILL waiting!! Oh and have a blood test on December 14th at 7.10 am yes AM 😲, whatever infection markers will probably been long gone by then 😤.

    So still feeling 🤒🤒
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
