Well done @bubbs; another loss - as you say 2 weeks on the trot. Keep it up. It looks like you need to be having the extra syns in order to lose. I went through a phase like that a couple of years ago where I didn't lose unless I had the full 105 syns a week but it seems I need to try and stock around 70 syns at the moment so that I can get a loss - think it's going to be hard to stick to that this week after yesterday's lunch out!

Well well done @Vegastare and @bubbs on the losses xx
Willow is beautiful @bubbs - fireworks are such a nuisance though!
We had SW bacon and spinach fusilli tonight - it was okay - very salty. Not sure we’d have it again but a quick easy meal.WI tomorrow and not hopeful tbh. Have been on plan but feel sluggish.
Sorry the eating out is proving an issue @SingleSue, please keep posting even if you don’t continue attending group.Visitors were lovely @ruby_eskimo and the tech worked! I ordered tea coffee and biscuits for 20 but there were loads of teabags and biscuits (2 packs) left so I bought them upstairs to my locker. I told boss and colleagues about them - we had already paid so didn’t want to waste them. One of my colleagues said ‘do you take miniature toiletries from hotel rooms too?’ Which I thought was a bit nasty!Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 17/25 Currently reading The Ghost Fields by Elly Griffiths0 -

Yes, well done @bubbs! 👏👏👏 It does seem that having more syns is working for you. Perhaps it makes up for having very few carbs because, other than that, you always stick to plan 100%.
And well done @Vegastare. 👏👏👏. Fancy forgetting to post a loss. 😁
Sorry to hear you won't be staying with SW @SingleSue. Unfortunately you've joined at a time when food prices are going up for everyone and your health problems stop you cooking from scratch. I agree it's hard to stay on plan and eat out. Probably best to just take the hit for one meal. Steak, salad and chips is most easily found.
We've been to a funeral today (wife of DH's friend) so a busy day and lots to work around.
I did my usual meal plan and shop earlier this morning. I bought a turkey in Aldi, just under 5kg and about £1 cheaper than the Farmfoods price so pleased with that.
After the funeral, there was beige food. DH got himself a plate from the buffet and I picked a bit to show willing. I had the filling from a piece of quiche and about 5 chips. I should be able to stay on plan for the rest of the week.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P)
L- LO chicken casserole (P, F, S)
D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P, S, F), HEA 2 Parmesan
Syns - 5 chips? weekend wine 😊0 -
Morning all, up earlier than usual this morning as planning an early night as need to get up at about 3.30 tomorrow morning to pick DD1 and her partner up from the airport which is about an hour away! Glad the M25 protesters have decided not to be stupid at the moment to make things even more difficult - just glad we didn't need to do it during the week!
Need to go to the butchers today as nearly out of sausages and burgers and they're the only low fat sausages that DH really likes; they're a bit more expensive than buying SM ones but at least they taste nice!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - burger, onions, salad in soft pitta - HEB; S; 0.5
D - coq au vin blanc; mash; green veg - P; S; F; 1
HEA - milk
HEB - soft pitta
Syns - LF sausages 2; LF burger 0.5; 25ml white wine 1
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning,
I woke early too @joedenise so thought I might as well get up! WI this morning but I'm not able to stay to group as I have my flu jab booked for 9.57am precisely! I have my latest library book with me in case I have to wait.
Sorry to hear you'd been to a funeral @maman and well done on the restraint at the buffet. It's not easy to avoid beige buffets especially at emotional times.
We have a weekend of household jobs to tackle including DH fixing a sensor on DS2's car plus changing the windscreen wipers as the MOT is due on 10 December. I will have the deep joy of defrosting the kitchen freezer as there's an iceberg forming at the top and it's in danger of not being able to shut properly. Luckily the Donald Russell order came in a large polystyrene box, so that can take some of the contents with the remainder going into the garage freezer. The bedding needs stripping and remaking, plus there's the usual weekend dusting and hoovering, and the bathrooms to do. We also need to sweep the driveway of leaves as the street trees are shedding and the front steps are a bit slippery. Body Magic central
Food today will be:
B - poached egg, spinach, 1 x WM toast - P, S, 1/2 HEB
L - HM soup, WM roll - 6
D - meatballs and spaghetti with HM arrabbiata sauce - 3
HEA - milk
HEA - parmesan
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
Syns - 9
Have a good day all,
Coxy

Glad I checked my menu plan for the coming week as just realised I need to get some liver! Going to make SW faggots for dinner one night in the week. Will also need to get some 5% pork mince from Tesco's.
