    Afternoon,

Thanks for all the liver suggestions. Will give it a whirl next week some time #excited

I managed a grand total of 268 steps yesterday! What a sloth! It's looking like a mild day, so I have another washload on the whirly and will pop out after work to top up on fruit and some yoghurt for overnight oats, as in the office tomorrow.

The veggie sausage traybake was very tasty and we have some roasted peppers, onion and BNS leftover, so I'm going to chop up a couple of carrots and pop into the soup maker with some stock and seasoning later.

    Food today will be:
    B - poached egg, spinach, 1 x WM toast - P, 1/2 HEB
L - JP, baked beans and cheese - 1, HEA
D - SW chicken jalfrezi, rice - Free
    HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
    Syns - 1

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

@maman - it's not much more than a thimble full of white wine in the salmon parcel!!  It's actually 90ml between the 2 of us so 45ml.  I've got some white wine in the fridge so will use some of that; if I didn't already have the wine I certainly wouldn't be opening a bottle but would use a white wine stock pot!

I'm with you on the kidney @maman!  Can't even stand it in a steak and kidney pie but DH loves it so he always used to have my kidney if there was any.  Having said that I've not had a steak and kidney pie since I started SW!

Lunch wasn't very SW friendly unfortunately.  Haven't worked out the syns yet but suspect it will be more than a day's worth including the glass of wine!  I had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and spinach.  Was very nice but would have liked it a bit hotter!

PS. Just worked out the syns and think it's 28 syns!  Definitely a bit of damage limitation needed during the week.

Unfortunately I have a hospital appointment next week and that's at 1.30pm at the same hospital as DH went to which is over an hour away so think it's just going to have to be a sandwich to save on syns and not eating out again!

Oh that explains the 2 syns @joedenise. I thought it was a miniscule glass of wine with lunch! 🤣

I had a large glass with my lunch! 😁 Food was really tasty, definitely cooked fresh on the premises. I had a bruschetta starter. Main was faggot, piece of pigs cheek, mash and greens. I had a pot of tea while others had various puddings. Meat was all very lean but bread and wine will have bumped up the syns.

Breakfast was fine and I'll probably have a small SW friendly snack later if I'm hungry then line drawn on today.

Good idea to make soup with the LO roast vegetables @Coxy11. You're being very mse this week. 👍 I made a pasta salad with orzo from LO roast veg last weekend and it was delicious.

That's really good news about your dad @bubbs. 👍

You seem to have a lot more sauce with the sweet and sour. We have noodles with ours and the sauce sort of coats it. I find you need a lot more with rice as it soaks it up. I don't suppose you like noodles though as you don't eat pasta. 🤔

@Vegastare, the BGTY sausages are 1.5 syns for the ordinary pork ones or 1 syn for the low fat Cumberland. 😊

Wow @bubbs, a whole jar each. Your plate must be swimming! Good to see you using syns though. 👍
